Chapter 208: Supporting Abaddon

Upon hearing that Azazel and the others were in trouble, Joseph's eyes widened in shock. “What?” Without wasting another moment, he immediately set out to rescue them. There was no time for any further questions; the only thing on his mind was saving his trusted comrades. Joseph quickly secured a private jet and, along with Beelzebub, headed toward the location where they were needed. However, flying directly to the island would be dangerous for Joseph, as the enemy could easily shoot down his plane. Dissatisfied with the pilot, Joseph took control of the aircraft himself, diving down from the sky in a daring maneuver. The sudden action left Beelzebub terrified. The descent was from a height of several dozen meters—if they crashed into the sea, it could be fatal. But Joseph succeeded, landing the plane safely. They touched down in an uninhabited area, ensuring they wouldn't be disturbed by anyone. After confirming that Joseph and Beelzebub had landed safely, the AI felt a deep sense of guilt. “This is all my fault,” she lamented. “If I hadn't handled the chip situation this way, perhaps your subordinates, including Abaddon, wouldn’t be in such danger... I’m the one to blame!” Joseph quickly reassured her. “Don’t overthink it. This isn’t your fault. The problem lies with the OYEN Group and those scumbags from the Paradise Organization. With Beelzebub and me here, you don’t need to worry about Abaddon and the others’ safety.” With Joseph on the scene, everything would be resolved. Hearing his words, the AI regained her confidence. “Understood,” she responded, then immediately began assisting Joseph in using advanced technology to help rescue his subordinates. Joseph and Beelzebub pressed forward, easily noticing the strength of the enemies they were up against. However, these enemies were still no match for Joseph. The group attempted to capture Joseph and Beelzebub, but they were hesitant to harm Joseph directly, fearing that this might not be the real Joseph. The group placed them in a room. “Cut off their hands,” the leader ordered his subordinates. “No, we can’t do that,” one subordinate argued. “What if they’re fake? If they are, we’ll suffer the consequences! We could be retaliated against!” “You might have a point, but do you really know if they’re fake? If they are, we’re doomed!” the leader debated. As they continued to argue, Joseph suddenly took out a sharp knife and made a cut across his forehead, causing blood to pour out. The sight of Joseph’s crimson blood—rather than black—sent fear rippling through the group. Realizing this was indeed Joseph, the men quickly dropped to their knees. “It’s Joseph! It’s really Joseph! We’ve captured Joseph!” they exclaimed, their voices trembling with shock and disbelief. With the truth now clear, the group understood: Joseph had orchestrated this entire situation to deceive them. But it was too late. Although they had captured him, it was meaningless. Joseph had feigned weakness to infiltrate their camp. He and Beelzebub swiftly broke free from their restraints. “Die, all of you!” Joseph shouted, hurling explosives created by the AI into the surrounding area. Boom! Boom! Boom! A series of explosions rocked the area, engulfing it in flames. The intense fire even came close to burning Beelzebub’s clothes, but she managed to dodge just in time, avoiding injury. The flames consumed everything around them. Although the enemies began to realize what was happening, it was too late—the explosives had already taken their lives. After the explosions subsided, Beelzebub rushed to find Abaddon, who had been imprisoned in a secret chamber near the island. The enemies had planned to use Abaddon as a hostage to threaten Joseph and his team, but their plan had now turned into a joke. After rescuing Abaddon, the two of them attempted to escape. However, the island’s terrain was incredibly complex, with countless paths to take, and they quickly got lost. Meanwhile, the group of enemies who had heard the explosions closed in on Joseph and his team. “Stop right there!” they shouted. But by then, Joseph and his comrades had already found an opportunity to disappear into the surrounding wilderness like ants vanishing into the grass. Hundreds of enemies swarmed the area where Joseph’s team had been hiding. Without Joseph, the enemies might have been too numerous to handle. But with Joseph leading the charge, his men surged forward as well. Joseph’s sudden appearance threw the enemies into disarray. Realizing that their plan had failed, they fled the area in panic. Finally, with the enemies gone, Abaddon and Beelzebub could breathe a sigh of relief. “Thank you so much. Without you, I might never have made it out alive,” Abaddon said to Joseph. “No problem. We’re all in this together. Rest up; we’ll get you healed before we move forward,” Joseph replied. “Got it,” Abaddon agreed. He knew he needed treatment to avoid being covered in wounds and illness like before. However, before they could relax, the enemies, as if reinvigorated, suddenly returned. Joseph immediately understood what was happening. “They must have some kind of chip implanted by the OYEN Group. No time to explain—take them all out!” “Yes!” his comrades responded. Joseph charged into battle, while Beelzebub, wielding her whip, effortlessly decapitated one of the enemies. Abaddon used his body as a shield, slamming one of the attackers to the ground.
