I assume you’re calling for a reason?" Giselle nodded. "As expected of Mr. Joseph, you’re right. The reason I’m calling is because I discovered something terrifying. Do you remember Johnson? He and Jenna were captured, and not only that, all my men around them were killed!" Hearing this, Joseph frowned. "How is that possible?" Johnson and Jenna were on the brink of death. How could they have had the strength to kill my men? "I swear it’s true, sir!" Joseph remained calm. "Then someone must have rescued them." Giselle agreed. "That seems likely." Joseph spoke firmly. "In that case, investigate this matter thoroughly. If someone was involved, they’ll slip up eventually." "I’ll make sure to look into it." After that, the call ended. Joseph then took Lucy to see Sophie. "Do you remember anything unusual happening around the house recently?" Sophie was silent for a moment. "I remember, the day before Lucy’s parents fell ill, I saw a man in black enter Johnson’s house!" "Oh? Why didn’t you tell me?" Sophie pouted with a hint of guilt and replied sadly.
