Chapter 1159

Wyatt smiled and said, "You're so great, Zarian!" Zarian replied with a stiff smile. "Heh. You flatter me." It could not shake off the feeling that the human martial artist's bright smile made him uneasy. Tamaro continued to explain her strategy. "Arasbor, I'd like for you to attack from the north. Your large build is well-suited for the flat terrain there." The silver giant, Arasbor, replied, "No problems!" Zarian suddenly turned around and stared at Wyatt behind him, whipping up a gust of wind in the process. It felt extremely uncomfortable because of his constant staring. It saw that Wyatt's eyes and face were gleaming with that of hunger. Zarian began to suspect that Wyatt was not of sane mind as his gaze at its body was similar to that of a pervert eyeing a beautiful woman without shame. It looked at Wyatt as if it was looking at a pervert and explained, "I'm a male lion!" Wyatt's gaze only grew even more fiery as a result. Zarian announcing that it was a male lion was great news for Wyatt as he had even begun to think about what kind of medicine he could make with the additional parts as ingredients. Zarian trembled all over as Wyatt's staring sent chills down its spine. It could not stand the unsettling way Wyatt had been staring at it and roared, "What's with that look on your face, brat?" Wyatt explained, "Please don't be angry, Zarian. I just think that we could be good friends." Zarian haughtily raised its head and turned away, but its attention actually remained focused on Wyatt. "Hah! You're not worthy of it!" After a while, it turned back around and asked, "Fucking hell, why do I keep getting the feeling that you're secretly watching me?" It was so irritated that it even considered attacking Wyatt right then and there. Wyatt was unfazed and just smiled. "Please calm down, Zarian. With how majestic and brave you are, it's impossible not to stare and admire you." Zarian almost felt like vomiting. It quickly moved to another spot and put as much distance as possible between itself and Wyatt. It could not help but feel that Wyatt was abnormal. Tamaro stood gracefully in place with a smile. "Alright. Everyone, let us proceed with the plan and launch the attack!" She had assigned everyone to roles well suited to their strengths. But Wyatt still felt that uneasy feeling gnawing upon his senses. He felt as if he was being set up, but he could not spot anything unusual. After half an hour of rest, Tamaro, accompanied by the powerful mystical creatures and their servants, finally advanced toward the treasure cave halfway up the mountain. As the uninvited guests entered the cave, all of the lion-tiger twin-headed beasts guarding the treasure cave erupted into chaos. Pairs of blood-red eyes lit up one after another like lanterns within the cave. Each of the beasts was enormous, and they began to converge at the base of the mountain from every direction. Many of the group were horrified. "Oh my god, they have two heads! One's a tiger, and the other's a lion! And what's with their size? Are they sentient?" Wyatt was also shocked by their appearance. It was his first time seeing such a strange combination of animals, and there were almost thousands of them in one place. Tamaro's expression turned serious. "They're hybrids of the Kirin and the White Tiger. They may be massive, but it's nothing to be afraid of. Fight on!" Wyatt stared at the dense swarm of lion-tiger twin-headed beasts. As they were all of the same single species, the swarm of beasts was extremely organized and disciplined. The entire grassland was filled to the brim with said beasts as if it were the sea that stretched endlessly across the horizon. Their species had gone through mutation from staying within the Land of Blessings and ended up with two heads. Each of them was as large as an elephant. Some of them were blood red, some of them pitch black, and some were even navy blue. Despite the differences, all of them were extremely ferocious, their eyes gleaming with a savage light. Suddenly, a deafening roar echoed across the area. A lion-tiger that was radiating golden light appeared at the halfway point of the mountain. It stood 20 feet tall as it howled at the sky to command the beast horde below. That lion-tiger in particular had nine heads in total, six of them were lions, and three of them were tigers. Zarian's expression shifted rapidly, his gaze now replaced with a look of fear. "That's the Nine-headed lion-tiger beast king, the leader of the entire pack! "It contains a trace of the legendary divine beast Kirin's blood, and it had been guarding the treasure cave for generations. It is definitely the strongest of them all!" A voice suddenly rang out from beside Zarian. "Zarian, you're a lion too, aren't you? Are you related to them?"
