Chapter 1158

A select few among the mystical creatures led the group. Each of them possessed unique features, among them included a golden lion cub, a silver giant towering over 30 feet tall, and a humanoid creature with a golden horn on its head and wings on its back. Some of them were monsterkind, and some of them were natives of the Land of Blessings, and both groups had their eyes set on the Kirin. Behind them were various followers, some of whom were human martial artists who had been subdued to become their servants. The silver giant stepped forward and greeted Tamaro. "You're finally here, Tamaro. We've been waiting for you." The humanoid with a horn was visibly excited. "When are we going inside the treasure cave? I can't wait any longer!" The golden lion cub moved forward and spoke up. "I've heard from my ancestors that the corpse of a Kirin really does exist within the cave, but it had always been sealed. But the recent re-emergence of the Land of Blessings somehow removed that seal." It was a native of the Land of Blessings and knew many of its secrets. Wyatt was amazed by Tamaro's socializing skills. She had barely arrived in the Land of Blessings, but she had already managed to recruit such a strong group of allies, many of whom were natives of the land. Her ability to win people over truly made her a remarkable social butterfly. What shocked Wyatt even more was how all of the mystical creatures were looking at Tamaro's figure. He noticed that their gazes were filled with fiery desire, evidence that her charm transcended even species. Wyatt's gaze was also growing heated as he stared at the golden lion cub. It was not particularly large, which indicated that it was still a young cub, and yet, it looked incredibly appetizing to Wyatt. He turned to look at the other two mystical creatures and frowned. One of them was a silver giant, and the other was a horned humanoid. Both of them were humanoid in shape, and Wyatt had no appetite for either of them. He shifted his attention back to the golden lion cub and began to think about eating it. With the golden lion cub being a native of the Land of Blessings, its power level would still steadily increase even without committing to cultivation. And once it reached the level of God Tier, the Heavenly Principles operating within the Land of Blessings would obliterate it from existence. In other words, it was destined to die someday. Rather than letting it go to waste, Wyatt thought about eating it instead. Just then, the golden lion cub happened to turn to Wyatt, which caused Wyatt to quickly avert his gaze. The golden lion cub stared at Wyatt with hostility. "Why is there a pesky little human here?" It approached Wyatt and locked onto him as if he were its prey. "Perfect timing. I haven't tasted human flesh for a very long time. You're going to make a great snack for me." Wyatt and the golden lion cub wanted to eat each other. The golden lion cub was not particularly huge, but its golden fur that was constantly glowing painted it with an imposing presence far beyond its size akin to that of a mountain. Wyatt almost fainted from the surprise. He had been thinking about eating the golden lion cub, only for the lion itself to be having the same idea about him. They were both on the same wavelength. Tamaro stepped in to mediate between them. "Please don't start a fight, Zarian. This man here is a powerful ally called Ryatt. He may be human, but I can assure you that he is unparalleled in strength." The golden lion cub, Zarian, did not stop its steps and continued approaching Wyatt. "Heh, is this lowly human really as strong as you claim to be, Tamaro? Allow me to test him out!" "He's the one that killed Rahul!" With that, Zarian was immediately stopped in its tracks. Its expression shifted again and again and it eventually turned around with an awkward laugh. "I was just joking, my friend. You don't mind a little light-hearted banter, right?" Wyatt replied with a friendly smile. "Of course not. You sure have a great sense of humor, Zarian." He was baiting the lion into a false sense of friendship and security so that it would lower its guard. And once the timing was right, Wyatt would strike it down and eat it. Zarian was no mere ordinary lion after all. It would be hard for Wyatt to make a move if it remained wary toward him. Tamaro waved her hand and called out to the group, her unparalleled beauty and curvaceous body charming all of them. "Please gather round, everyone. I'd like to discuss our strategy for going into the treasure cave." Zarian, along with the silver giant, immediately gathered around Tamaro and began to greedily sniff her fragrant scent. Some of the other mystical creatures even begin to sneak in touches on her delicate body. Tamaro, however, did not seem to mind their actions at all. Her enchanting smile instead grew even brighter and her captivating fragrance grew even more potent. But deep in her eyes showed the truth. It held nothing but disdain and disgust toward everyone surrounding her. Wyatt felt that something was off, although he had no idea where it was or what it was. Tamaro brought out a map of the treasure cave and began to point and explain her plan as she went. "Zarian, I'd like for you to attack from the west. Many lion-tiger twin-headed beasts are guarding the area, but I'm sure that you're best suited for fighting against them with your immense strength." Zarian replied, "Leave it to me, Tamaro. Those mindless beasts are nothing before me!" Zarian suddenly felt a chill running through its back as if it were being monitored. It immediately turned around and was met with Wyatt's friendly smile.
