Chapter 1157

Wyatt just smiled and replied, "How could you tell that I'm still full of vigor?" He wanted to try and extract more information about the treasure cave from Tamaro. While he did not intend to work together with her, it did not mean that he was not interested in the treasure. Tamaro smiled in response. Her smile was so beautiful that it could perhaps even charm the entire world. She took another step forward, her curvaceous figure accentuated by her flowing gown, revealing her devilishly voluptuous and irresistible body proportions. Tamaro exhaled softly and licked her lips. She then leaned in closer to Wyatt's ear and whispered, "Why don't we try and see just how 'vigorous' you are?" Wyatt felt his entire body and blood heating up to the extreme. He immediately pulled himself away from Tamaro as he realized that the woman was the epitome of danger itself. A simple tease coming from her had almost completely shattered his composure, replacing it with nothing but desire. Wyatt was certain that if Tamaro had employed any more of her charm, he would not have been able to resist. He decided that the rational choice to be made was to stay as far away as possible from her. He turned around once more to leave. "Goodbye." Tamaro's reply, however, would cause Wyatt's leg to freeze up. "A Kirin is inside the treasure cave!" A Kirin, a legendary divine beast from ages past whose name still commanded tremendous respect to this day. If the treasure cave truly contained the corpse of a Kirin, it would be earth-shattering news. Wyatt was shocked. "Listen, Tamaro, if a Kirin truly exists within that treasure cave, I'm sure that you'd know better than to even think about going anywhere near it." Tamaro's eyes glowed with passion as her black hair danced in the air. Her already fair skin seemed to turn even more flawless than before. "Ha ha. If it was still alive, I'd run away as far as possible, yes. But it's just a corpse now, and that's what I'm planning on getting my hands on." Wyatt's heart started beating like a drum once more. If it was indeed the corpse of a Kirin, it would undoubtedly be a treasure among treasures. Every part of the legendary beast was a treasure on its own. Even just consuming a single bite of its flesh would provide an unimaginable amount of benefits. At his current stage of cultivation, even just a single drop of its blood would be extremely beneficial to Wyatt and allow him to break through to a new horizon, let alone consume an entire chunk of flesh. Wyatt squinted as he stared at Tamaro. "Explain why and how I can trust you." Tamaro smiled and replied, "Come with me, my friend. This place is currently crowded and filled with prying eyes and ears. It is not ideal for such discussions." … Half an hour later, Wyatt and Tamaro traveled west together for 200 miles. A massive mountain soon came into view. It stood tall and imposing like a giant beast overlooking the grasslands before it. Halfway up the mountain was a pitch-black cave. Nobody could tell how deep it could go, but it was steadily emanating a mysterious presence from within. It was the treasure cave that Tamaro had mentioned. Wyatt stared at the treasure cave with intrigue. He could faintly sense an overwhelming presence lurking within the cave even from a distance. The presence was extremely savage and dangerous, as well as ancient. It felt as if the cave had existed billions of years back. Wyatt murmured, "There's an incredibly terrifying presence deep within the cave." His expression turned serious as he focused his senses on the presence. He felt that the presence deep within the cave carried an insurmountable amount of violence that could shake both heaven and earth. It was clear that whatever it was that had left behind such a terrifying presence used to be unimaginably powerful and fearsome. Not even Wyatt's divine sense could penetrate through the treasure cave. Tamaro stared into the distance with a yearning gaze. A gentle breeze lifted her gown and caused it to flutter gracefully on her body. "See, Wyatt? I wasn't lying to you. The owner of that terrifying presence is none other than the Kirin itself. Even though it had died for billions of years, its terrifying presence still remains. It truly lives up to its legendary reputation as a divine beast!" Wyatt was fully convinced. He believed that only a divine beast could be able to exude such a powerful presence. As the both of them arrived at the base of the mountain, they were greeted by a group of mystical beings. Each of them seemed incredibly strong in their own right, their eyes were fierce like a predator on the hunt.
