Chapter 1156
The seductive woman laughed softly. Her large, watery eyes were sparkling as she replied, "You are truly impressive, my friend. You managed to see through me for who I am in just a glance. I guess I don't have much to hide. My name is Tamaro Monroe, within my body flows the blood of a celestial fox."
Wyatt was shocked as she never expected her to be Tamaro herself. He recognized her from her other title, the celestial fox maiden.
Faith had once warned him about Tamaro, telling him to be particularly cautious around her.
Tamaro possessed the bloodline of the ancient celestial fox. It gave her the reputation of being both extremely fascinating and dangerously skilled at seducing men.
And beyond that, she was a hazardous woman with a sinister heart.
"So you're Tamaro, I've long heard of your reputation, but this is farewell," Wyatt replied as he left.
He left without hesitation.
The woman before him was way too dangerous to risk being around. Every single part of her body was irresistible, and any man who fell for her charm would inevitably meet their end.
He knew that she was the type of monster that would devour someone whole, bones and all.
But the purity and innocence within her body were a complete contradiction with her seductive nature. It was undeniably present in her body, which made Wyatt even more wary of her.
Wyatt's decisive action caused Tamaro's captivating eyes to flicker from surprise.
The blood of the celestial fox flowing in her veins was pure and fully awakened. She had absolute confidence in her ability to charm any and every man in the world, even the legendary Falcon King himself.
The surrounding martial artists, human, monster, and even the natives, were all frozen in place as they stared at Tamaro in a daze with drool running down their lips.
Yet, Wyatt seemed to be completely unaffected by her beauty. It truly shocked Tamaro.
She stepped forward, leaving a fragrant breeze at where she once stood. "Please wait, my friend."
Wyatt did not even turn around as he asked, "What is it?"
Tamaro sincerely explained, "Please relax, my friend. I am not on the same side as Rahul. I was simply shocked that you're strong enough to kill him and nothing more.
"I am not your enemy. I've come to you because I have an important matter that I'd like to discuss with you."
Wyatt replied with a tone devoid of emotion. "You're monsterkind, and I'm human. We have nothing in common to work together in the first place."
She shook her head and gently laughed, her voice as soft and pleasant as the spring breeze. "You shouldn't be so biased, my friend. We aren't all that different, you know? We're all residents of this world.
"In the future, the spiritual energy of heaven and earth will fully awaken once more, and both monsterkind and demonkind will reemerge after billions of years. In the world that I envisioned, humans, monsters, and demons coexist peacefully with no discriminating and no slaughtering one another."
Wyatt just sneered as he did not buy any part of her explanation. "Very convincing, but it's completely unrealistic.
"Perhaps when you monsters willingly remove your claws and fangs and the demons put away their lust for slaughter, we humans will finally be able to talk to you about peace."
Animals would always be that, animals. No matter how tame they became, they would still eat anything and anyone when they were hungry.
With Wyatt being resistant to her persuasion, Tamaro revealed an even more beautiful smile and replied, "I guess telling you a long story wouldn't work, then allow me to get straight to the point."
She raised her delicate hand and pointed forward. "200 miles away from here is a treasure cave guarded by powerful beasts.
"My friend, given that you're powerful enough to even kill Rahul, I propose to you a collaboration. Let's join forces along with some other companions to explore the treasure cave and claim the treasures within."
Her silky robe fluttered around her body, revealing glimpses of her fair skin and irresistible figure. Her curvaceous figure and sweet smile drilled itself straight into her target's heart.
"I had originally planned to work alongside Rahul, but since you've already killed him, you're my only option left."
Wyatt finally understood Tamaro's true intentions. He was somewhat tempted by the offer, but he had absolutely no desire to work with her.
Working alongside a fox monster like her was akin to sending himself into a tiger's mouth. It was, frankly, a trap.
Wyatt shook his head and rejected her offer. "Sorry, but I'm heavily injured from the fight with the golden creature. I won't be able to fight again on short notice.
"I'd love to join you in exploring the treasure cave, but my current condition simply doesn't allow for it. I'll have to pass."
Tamaro approached him and tilted her head playfully, her clear and bright eyes gazing deep into his soul. "You don't look gravely injured to me, my friend. In fact, you still seem to be full of vigor."
She revealed two canine teeth with her smile as a strand of her hair slipped from her smooth forehead to her red lips. It was undeniably an adorable and mischievous sight.
Wyatt's heart started beating like a drum after a single look at her face. He felt that the playful little tilt of her head was even more powerful than Rahul's Golden Crescent.
