She Is.... Cole almost lost his temper. He knew it! He knew that nothing good was ever going to come from this person. He thinks that he wants something to do with Scarlett?! How can Kelvin even come up with this kind of conclusion?! It's only because he found out that she is his cousin today! He is only trying to do what his mother asked of him! How did Kelvin even come up with this conclusion? Seeing that Cole did not say anything, Kelvin thought that he was right. He wants to mess around with Scarlett. He was now thinking that it wasn't a good idea to ask him to do this drama! "Seriously, you can't do that Cole. She is married. And besides, you just got out of a scandal with that model. No matter how popular you are, you can't keep acting like this. It's only going to affect your career. Let's take a step back here please" Kelvin said. "Hey shut up! Who said that I'm going to mess around with Scarlett?!" Cole asked. He was so angry that he wanted to vomit blood! Did everyone conspire to make him angry today? First it was his parents and now it's his manager. What kind of situation is this? "Isn't that true?" Kelvin asked. He really could not understand Cole's purpose. "It's not so! "Anyway if you don't want to chase her, then what has this drama got to do with her? Why do you want to be in the drama for her?" Kelvin asked. He was really curious about this. He picked it up and the voice of his secretary filtered into his ears. "Sir, there's a woman here looking for you. She doesn't have an appointment but she says that you know her. Her name is Kaira" The secretary said. Matt was unpleasantly suprised. He already told Kaira that he won't be helping her yesterday. Who knew that she was going to come to the company? Now that she was already here, there was no way that he could chase her away. After all, they used to know each other. He thought that he would be able to avoid her but it turns out that he has underestimated how shameless Kaira could be. After all that he told her yesterday, she still choose to come. Matt rubbed his temples. Then he said, "Let her come in" she was already here. There was nothing that he could do. He could only advice he to give up now. Whatever she chooses to do will be her business. After all, it takes too to clap. As long as Ryder ignores her, then everything will be fine. She won't be able to do anything as long as he ignores her. A few seconds later, the door opened and Kaira sauntered into the office. She was dressed up carefully. As she walked, bed heels made a lot of noise. Matt was really frustrated. Doesn't she know when to give up? Does she have to make things difficult for everyone like this? "Matt" Kaira called out. She had decided to come see him in his office herself. She knew that he would never come out to meet her if she asked. He was only going to find a way to run away from it. So since he doesn't want to come to her, she would just have to find a way to come to him herself. "Have a seat" Matt said. Since she was already here, he would have to play host. "Thank you" Kaira said and smiled sweetly. Matt did not want to waste any more time with her and so he just went straight to the point. "What are you doing? Why did you come here?" There was a tinge of annoyance in his voice. Kaira could tell that. He was angry with her. But she pretended not to notice it at all. "I came here because I wanted to see you. Is it a bad thing to want to see you?" She asked, pouting her lips. Matt could not help but laugh. "I'm really busy Kaira. Let's not waste each other's time" Matt said. She wants to see him? What a joke! Kaira pursed her lips. He doesn't even want to waste time talking with her. Seems like she will have to go straight to the point. "Well, I've thought about it as you said Matt. There's no way that I can give up Ryder. I really love him a lot. I admit that five years ago, it was my fault. I should not have left him then but I was young too...I wasn't sure about a lot of things then....but anyway...I'm really sorry...can you please help me...?" Kaira asked. Matt was surprised at her level of shamelessness. It seemed that everything that he said to her yesterday did not make ant difference to her at all. "Kaira, this isn't about you giving up because you want to. You have yo give up because there is no way that the both of you can be together. Don't you get it? He is already married! Are you really going to make yourself a third party? It doesn't make sense Kaira you don't have to do this" Matt said. Kaira is still someone that he knows. Matt felt that be was still entitled to give her advice. Whatever she chose to do with that advice would be her own business then. It won't have anything to do with him. Kaira bit her lips. "He is Married? So what if he is married? He can get a divorce! And I'm not a third party! The person who isn't loved is the third party! I'm sure that Ryder still loves me very much!" Kaira said. She made it clear that she won't listen to whatever Matt wanted to say to her. Matt was already tired of talking to her. Since she doesn't want to listen there was nothing more than he could do than to let her go down the path and wants. "Ok then. If you think that you can do it, go ahead" Matt said. A blockhead like Kaira who thinks that she is always right was never going to listen to another person anyway. Kaira was happy when she heard that. "Then are you going to help me Kaira? I'm sure that if you help me then things are going to be a lot easier" Kaira said. It was obvious that she was excited. Matt bent his head and chucked before looking up at Kaira. "I think that you got something wrong here Kaira. There's no way that in going to help you break the marriage of my best friend. Do you think I'm crazy or what? I only said that you can do whatever you want. If you think that he still loves you, then go ahead. But I can only warn you. A lot of things have changed in the past five years. Including his feelings. There's no way that he still loves you. Ryder isn't where you left him" Matt said. Since she insists, then he would let her do whatever he wants. Only when she hits a roadblock and gets hurt would she stop. He was already tired of having to advice her anyway. It's her life and she could do whatever she wants. Kaira was surprised. She did not think that Matt was going to ignore her like this. He really doesn't want to help her? Then what is she going to do then? "You really are not going to help me?" Kaira asked acting as if she was going to break down and start crying any second from now on. "What exactly are you trying to ask me to do? You want me to break up my friend's marriage for you? Let me ask you Kaira. Does this make any sense to you? I don't want to do it. I don't want to do it at all!" Matt said suddenly raising his voice. It was obvious that he was starting to get angry. "You....!" Kaira was stumped for words. She did not think that he was going to reject her outright like this even when she came to him herself. "I can't help you with something like this Kaira. I'll advice you to give up those thoughts. But since you don't want to, there's nothing else than I can do to help you then" Matt said. If was clear that he wasn't going to go her no matter what she said. Kaira was angry. Hmph! Since he doesn't want to help her, then she is just going to leave! She doesn't believe that she won't be able to get Ryder back herself. She was sure that she will be able to do it! "Fine then! Since you don't want to help me, I'm sure that I'll be able to do it myself!" Kaira said. Obviously she was used to getting her way so she wasn't going to accept it if things don't go her way at all. Matt definitely did not want to baby sit this spoilt girl. "Well, then good luck. I'll be looking forward to seeing what you can do" Matt said. Just then, the intercom rang again. Matt picked it up. It was the same secretary. "Sir, Scarlet's manager is here she says that she has something to talk about with you concerning Scarlett's new drama. But that woman is still in there. Should I....?" The secretary did not say anything else. Matt understood that she was asking if she should ask Rose to come later. Matt's heart missed a beat when he heard that Rose was here to see him. Ever since that day, the both of them have not seen each other. Not even running into each other since they worked in the same company. It had never happened since that day. He did not know if he was the one avioiding him or if she was the one avioiding him. He really did not know. Since the both of them have not met each other for some time and he was swamped with work, he did not have the time to think about her.
