Kaira was going to say something when the door opened and a woman walked in. Kaira turned over to look at the woman. She did not know who she was. Who is this person? She turned to look at Matt. He opened and closed his eyes several times to make sure that he wasn't dreaming and that this woman was actually standing in front of him right now. "You....Kate....what are you doing here?" Peter finally found some words after the shock wore off from him. It seemed that Kate did not have any intentions of starting the conversation so he had to do it himself. "What? I can't be here?" Kate asked, casting a long glace at him. Peter was stunned. He could not say anything. He really did not know what he was supposed to say to this woman who disappeared from his life ten years ago without as much as a simple explanation. "Besides, if you don't want me to come back you should have changed the lock. Didn't you leave it that way because you were actually hoping for me to come back?" Kate asked. Peter didn't say anything because she was almost right. At first, he didn't change anything about this place because he was actually waiting patiently for her to come back. But then, his waiting became an habit and over the years, he really did not see the need to change anything. He just continued to live like this. But.....this doesn't explain the reason why she disappeared and then showed up all of a sudden right? What is going on? "You ....don't you have anything to explain to me?" Peter asked. She owed him an explanation. Her explanation was exactly ten years late! "Explain? What should I explain? I didn't want to live with you anymore and so I left. What's the big deal?" Kate asked.
