Chapter 205: The Weizhong Group

Unexpectedly, the group had other tricks up their sleeves. The leader threw a smoke bomb toward Joseph’s location, and in the next second, they disappeared without a trace. Joseph stared in the direction where they had vanished. "What is the Reaper Organization planning?" First, they pretended to be from another group, contacted Johnson domestically, and poisoned his in-laws. Then, they threatened Longrich, forcing him not to supply chips. Without those chips, neither Joseph nor the members of the Hell Organization would be able to operate at full capacity. Upon returning to the Hell Organization, Joseph relayed the situation to everyone. His words sparked agitation among the group; no one could understand why such things were happening. However, the AI had already anticipated this and immediately offered a solution. "In fact, I knew that once we were controlled by these chips, we could reach out to a domestic company called the Weizhong Group. It’s a relatively new enterprise, but the people there are highly skilled," the AI explained. "If we provide them with some support, they might be able to figure out the chip problem." Joseph nodded. "Alright, get ready. Today, we’ll go to China to negotiate with this group." "Yes!" Although Joseph knew that returning home would be safe, he also realized that the assassin sent by Laquell's mother was likely already in China, waiting for Gun God and Whip God. If something happened to them because they followed him, what should he do? But Joseph quickly made up his mind. No matter what, his Hell Organization could handle it. He was confident in protecting their safety. If push came to shove, he’d just have the Hell Organization go up against Laquell’s family. After all, they’d almost wiped out the Paradise Organization; why fear this group? However, for Gun God's safety, Joseph asked him to stay behind. "Understood," Gun God replied, fully aware of Joseph’s intentions. He appreciated that Joseph was saying this out of concern for his safety. Soon, Joseph and his organization set out for China. Upon arriving at the domestic airport, Joseph noticed that the place was filled with cameras—cameras that didn’t belong to the government but to a specific group. Joseph recognized this group as the Weizhong Group. The Weizhong Group really was powerful, with influence even over the airport. But Joseph wasn’t concerned; in his eyes, the Hell Organization was far superior. As they moved forward, Joseph was cautious, constantly scanning his surroundings. He was well aware that someone might be monitoring them. On the surface, it seemed that Joseph had only brought Beelzebub and another member to China, but in reality, countless others were hidden in the shadows, ready to act. Upon leaving the airport, they drove straight to the Weizhong Group. As soon as they arrived, a woman spotted Beelzebub. "Hey, is that you, Jac?" Jac was Beelzebub's real name, a name she had long left behind. Hearing someone call her by it, Beelzebub frowned and turned around, recognizing the woman as a former classmate from elementary school. She hadn’t expected to see her here. "It’s you, Solano." Solano looked at her teasingly. "I never thought little Jac would have a boyfriend now. I heard you left home and went abroad. I wondered if you were looking for a boyfriend there. And it turns out..." Beelzebub narrowed her eyes. "He’s not my boyfriend." Solano shrugged. "Oh, so what are you doing here then? Are you looking for a job?" Beelzebub shook her head. "No, we’re here to cause trouble." She then glanced at Joseph. Solano’s eyes widened. "You're joking, right?" Though Beelzebub was known for being cold and ruthless, Solano found it hard to believe she would kill her, considering their years as classmates. Testing the waters, Solano asked, "Jac, did you have a fight with your boyfriend?" Beelzebub shook her head again. Solano, still curious, continued. "So, why are you here? The Weizhong Group is one of the most powerful companies in China, and I’ve heard they even have military backing. You don’t seriously think you can destroy this place, do you?" Hearing this, Beelzebub shot Solano a cold look before taking out her phone and dialing a number. As soon as the call connected, she spoke. "It’s me. I need to see your boss. Take me to your office." There was a brief pause on the other end before the person agreed. "Understood!" With that, the call ended. Solano was left standing there, stunned. As she processed what had just happened, she realized Beelzebub and her companions had already disappeared. "Strange. Since when did Jac become so cold-blooded? Could it be because that man treats her badly?" Shaking her head, Solano decided to follow them. Soon, Beelzebub and her group were escorted to the top floor of the Weizhong Group. There weren’t many guards around because no one dared enter this area. Solano, who had followed them, warned Beelzebub, "You do know it’s dangerous here, right? If you want to work here, you can’t go around looking down on people like this." She added, "I have a good relationship with our company’s manager, so if you want to work here, just ask, and I can help." Solano still believed Beelzebub was here to apply for a job. Beelzebub, exasperated, ignored her. When Solano saw Beelzebub not responding, she rolled her eyes. Solano had something to deliver to her boss anyway, so she continued to follow them, hoping to see them humiliated. The truth was, she couldn’t stand the idea that Beelzebub might have a better boyfriend than she did. She couldn’t believe that the gloomy girl no one liked in elementary school could have a boyfriend better than hers. Soon, they reached the top floor of the Weizhong Group, where they were greeted by the chairman. He had received a call earlier, informing him that the Hell Organization’s Reaper was coming. He was thrilled. After all, this was the Reaper from the Hell Organization!
