Chapter 199: Malicious Intentions

"Now, I'm willing to let you all come at me together. How about it?" Joseph challenged, his voice icy. The group of men hesitated and stepped back, shocked that he actually had a gun. He clearly wasn't someone to be trifled with. They quickly realized they were in over their heads. One of the men spoke up, "Brother, we're just doing this to survive. Please, have some mercy!" Joseph shrugged. "Do I look like an idiot to you? What does your struggle for survival have to do with drugging my wife?" He pointed at the man who had spiked the drink, who nodded frantically in agreement. Joseph sneered, grabbing the man's head and twisting it to the side, forcing him to face another direction with a painful grimace. "This is your punishment. If I ever catch you doing this again, I won't be so lenient." With that, he released the man. The group nodded repeatedly, too terrified to oppose him. "Now, where's your money?" Joseph demanded. The man was dumbfounded. "I don't have any money on me. All I have is the product... and some photos of the woman." Joseph emptied the man's pockets, revealing bags of white powder. "Is this what you meant?" he asked. The group nodded again, fear evident on their faces. Joseph chuckled coldly. "You still haven't given me what I want." "Now, get lost. Next time I see you, I can't promise I won't blow your brains out." He wasn't joking, and the men shuddered in terror. Joseph let out a disdainful snort before walking away with the man who had drugged the drink. When Lucy and Dr. Mundo saw Joseph approaching, they hurried over. Joseph glanced at Dr. Mundo. "Doctor, why did you interfere earlier? This had nothing to do with you." Dr. Mundo laughed. "Oh, I was just trying to protect you. Look, they were trying to drug your wife; you had to teach them a lesson! But you should make sure they understand their mistake so that they don't repeat it. That's how you really teach someone a lesson." Joseph looked at Lucy, raising an eyebrow. "Lucy, don't you think he's terrible?" Lucy shook her head. "No, I think he has a point. And Joseph, I really think you should listen to the doctor. You went too far. Were you planning to kill them all?" "Even if they don't deserve your mercy, you should think about yourself! They'll come back for revenge!" She pleaded with him, but Joseph remained indifferent. "Do you really think anything will happen to me in front of you?" "Of course not, but aren't you supposed to protect our family? What if something happens when you're not home?" He smiled. "I'm strong. They won't be able to take me down." After reassuring Lucy, Joseph called Giselle. "Hey, get over here." When Giselle arrived and saw the half-dead men on the ground, he was shocked. "Are you all okay?" he asked, looking at Joseph and the others. Joseph nodded. "I'm fine, but I want to know how these drug-dealing kids ended up in your territory, and how they managed to slip drugs into my wife's drink. What do you have to say for yourself?" Giselle was stunned. It was bad enough that there were drug dealers in his area, but now they had crossed the line by targeting Joseph. "I'll get to the bottom of this immediately!" Giselle promised urgently. "You better," Joseph said. As they returned to their meal, Joseph's phone rang. It was a message from his AI assistant. "Hello?" "Joseph, we've located Gun God, but there's a problem." It turned out that Gun God and Whip God had known each other for a while, and they had teamed up to try and kill Raquel’s mother. However, Raquel's mother had become just as powerful as Whip God, and after a battle that lasted nearly two days and hundreds of rounds, both sides were severely injured. However, Gun God managed to escape. Upon hearing this, Joseph frowned. "Can you pinpoint their location?" "Approximately..." Hearing the uncertainty in the AI's voice, Joseph cut in. "Never mind. Get me a helicopter. I'll go find them myself. I can't let anything happen to them." Tangna's life depended on Gun God, and if something happened to him, what would he do for his daughter? The AI quickly arranged for a helicopter to head to Simi City. "Joseph..." Lucy began, but Joseph interrupted her. "No, I have to go and see how they're doing. They're both in trouble, and if I don't go, I'm not doing my job as their leader." Seeing his resolve, Lucy could only nod in support. Soon, a helicopter landed at the family estate. Beelzebub and the others stepped out, and Lucy rushed over to greet them. "What’s going on?" Joseph patted Lucy's shoulder, reassuring her. "Don't worry. I talked to the organization, and they sent some people to accompany me." "The organization?" Lucy was relieved, trusting the Hell Organization. "But, honey, are you going to find a doctor for Joseph?" Joseph nodded. "Are you going to see Cintheca? But I heard he's not a good person." "He's definitely not," Joseph said, patting her head. "That's why I'm looking for someone else." "And that's why I need to leave now. I have to save him." Lucy grew more anxious. "It's dangerous out there. What if something happens to you? I'm worried about you." Joseph smiled warmly. "Don't worry. I know my abilities better than anyone." He grinned at Lucy, not wanting her to worry. "I promise I'll come back safely."
