Chapter 181: Complete Annihilation

The smiles on the faces of the group quickly froze as they witnessed the scene before them. “No, no! We’re not ready to die!” They all raised their weapons, but a pitch-black gun appeared in front of them. The barrel was enormous, like the gaping maw of an abyss. This gun belonged to the Gun God. He pulled the trigger, and the bullet tore through the air. At the same time, he pulled the trigger again, firing a second bullet. Then a third, a fourth, a fifth! With this relentless barrage, countless bullets were unleashed, carrying terrifying destructive power. They tore through the bodies of these people, ripping them to shreds. In an instant, the ground was stained red with blood, the crimson color evoking a scene straight from hell. But this was not the most horrifying part. After these people died, their bodies began to disintegrate, turning into gray orbs that floated upward, only to be incinerated by flames and turned into smoke. The Gun God didn’t even blink, seemingly accustomed to such sights. However, he noticed someone lying on the ground, clutching their head. “There’s still one alive. We can’t let him escape.” Hearing this, Joseph and Kainan focused on the man. The man was drenched in blood, paralyzed on the ground, with no strength left to fight. He could barely manage to stand. “I’ll take care of it.” Kainan swiftly moved toward the man, grabbed his head, and slammed it into the ground with great force. The man let out a terrible scream, his face contorting in pain. “It’s done,” Kainan said, stepping back. But the man’s movements didn’t stop. He suddenly bit off his own tongue, writhing in agony on the ground. He screamed in pain but made no attempt to beg for mercy. He knew the gunshots signaled his inevitable fate. His pain was rooted in his resentment and regret. Was he really going to die here, without having tasted life’s greatest pleasures? Tears welled up in his eyes, but Joseph and the others paid him no mind. After the room turned into a sea of blood, Joseph calmly told Samael, Kainan, and the others, “Let’s go. It’s time to return.” The Gun God reported to Kainan, “The three remaining men outside are preparing to retreat. Their reinforcements are mostly dead.” It was time to clean up the battlefield. Kainan was dumbfounded by what he had just witnessed. “My God… These guys are incredible!” “Joseph, we’ve scored a major victory, haven’t we?” Joseph nodded calmly. “But our war is far from over.” He instructed his team to stand by his side, then led them to Remiel’s vault. When they saw the vault, everyone was stunned. “He was this rich?” Kainan had seen wealthy people before, but a mountain of gold like this was a first. And these riches had been taken from people like them. “This is unbelievable…” As they marveled at the sight, Joseph’s men began loading the gold onto trucks to transport it to the Hell Organization’s warehouse. During this process, Joseph ordered the Gun God and Kainan to take Samael to the hospital. Samael’s injuries were too severe, and without immediate treatment, he might not survive. “But the hospitals here are all under their control,” Kainan said, worried about Samael. This was Heaven Organization territory, not theirs. The Hell Organization’s base was still some distance away. Joseph shook his head and said to Kainan and the Gun God, “It doesn’t matter if the hospital is under control. Just break down the door. The doctors won’t dare do anything to us.” With Joseph’s reassurance, Kainan said nothing more and followed the Gun God. “I still don’t understand why we didn’t kill Remiel,” Kainan asked as they headed to the hospital, finally voicing his confusion. “Because I need him alive to unravel everything. I haven’t figured out how to deal with the Heaven Organization yet, but he has to stay alive.” Hearing this, Kainan felt a sense of foreboding, as if a fierce battle was about to begin. Once Samael’s condition was stabilized, they returned to the Hell Organization with the gold. Beelzebub approached Joseph upon his return. “Sir, we’ve found potential buyers outside the region as you instructed, but everyone is wary of the Heaven Organization. No one wants to take the risk, except… a woman named Alista.” Hearing her name, Joseph’s head throbbed. “Anyone but Alista. Why does it have to be her?” Alista was a wild card, a woman who could guess the relationship between Hell and Heaven. She’d surely figure out that the items came from Heaven. If she decided to take them from the Hell Organization… Beelzebub continued, “She’s offering very favorable terms, and the price is good. If you have no objections, we could consider working with her.” Joseph thought for a moment. “Have our Hell Division reach out first and see if it’s a good fit.” With his orders given, Beelzebub left, and Joseph gathered everyone to discuss the events of the night. Joseph’s expression was grim. “What do you make of this situation?” he asked, referring to Samael’s kidnapping not being carried out by Michelle. “This wasn’t Michelle’s doing. Someone tried to frame her, but we haven’t identified who yet.” Joseph nodded, knowing that whoever was behind this wouldn’t let Remiel and Michelle off easily. Remiel’s crisis was just beginning. But it seemed the situation was even more complex than he had anticipated. The true nature of Remiel’s alliances remained a mystery, making it difficult to predict if his backers would come to his aid.
