Before she could finish her sentence, a knock on the door interrupted her. Lucy opened the door and saw Joseph standing there with a bouquet of flowers. Joseph smiled and said, "These flowers are for you. Thank you for taking care of Tangna." Lucy accepted the flowers, her heart filled with sweetness. She looked into Joseph’s eyes and mustered the courage to say, "Joseph, maybe we..." Just as she was about to continue, Joseph spoke up, "I need to go out for a bit. Make sure to stay safe while I’m gone, okay?" "If there’s any danger, call me." Surprised that Joseph had to leave, Lucy looked at the flowers in her hands and nodded reluctantly. "Alright, I trust you. Go ahead, but please be careful." After Joseph left, Lucy gently caressed the flowers, lost in thought. She reminisced about the moments she had shared with Joseph, feeling warmth in her heart. At that moment, Tangna ran over and hugged Lucy’s leg. "Mommy, I love these flowers. They’re so pretty!" Tangna’s face was full of happiness. Lucy picked her up and said gently, "Sweetie, these flowers are from Daddy. We should thank him." That night, Lucy lay in bed, unable to sleep. She picked up her phone and sent Joseph a message. "Come back soon. I’m waiting for you." After sending the message, a slight smile appeared on Lucy’s lips as she fell asleep, filled with anticipation. For Lucy, this was very important. Even though Joseph might not return immediately, just having something to look forward to was enough. At that moment, Joseph had arrived at Pix's place to settle some scores. The room was filled with Pix’s subordinates. Joseph walked through the hallway, casually slapping anyone who tried to stop him, sending them flying. "Who the hell are you?" "Help! Someone!" "Who is this crazy guy?" "Oh no, the crazy guy is heading towards Master Pix!" Joseph was like a storm, making his way to Pix’s office. He kicked open the office door! Pix, who initially wanted to scold the intruder, froze upon seeing Joseph. "Ah! Lord Joseph! What brings you here?" Joseph looked at Pix coldly, his eyes blazing with anger. He stepped closer to Pix, each step filled with menace. "You know why I’m here." Joseph’s voice was as cold as ice. Pix trembled and said, "Lord Joseph, I... I don’t know what I did to offend you..." Joseph raised his right hand, a powerful aura emanating from him. "You deceived me! Did you even do what I asked you to do?" Pix’s face turned pale, knowing he was in deep trouble. "I thought you were reliable, but you betrayed me!" Joseph’s gaze grew even colder. Pix begged for mercy. "Lord Joseph, I know I was wrong! Please forgive me this once! I’ll do anything to make it right!" Joseph’s mouth curled into a disdainful smile. "Anything? What do you have left that I would want?" Seeing Joseph like this, Pix knew he was doomed.
