Chapter 125 Perhaps She Was Underestimated
On the second floor of the villa, Nancy half-dragged, half-carried Sebastian onto the couch.
His dark shirt was soaked through with blood, clinging to his skin and filling the air with the heavy scent of iron.
She reached to undo his buttons.
"Take it off," she ordered, her voice cold and hard.
At that moment, Sebastian used what little strength he had left to grab her wrist. His palm was burning, though his grip was weak.
"If I don't make it… with Taylor here, you'll still be safe."
Nancy froze. She lifted her gaze and met his dark eyes, already dimmed from blood loss.
That bloody fool, bleeding out and still thinking of his last words.
"Shut up," she snapped, anger flashing in her eyes.
"With me, Dr. Nan, not even Hell gets to take you."
For the briefest instant, his pupils seemed to contract, then the light in his eyes faded. His head dropped to the side as he slipped into unconsciousness.
Nancy didn't waste another second. She pulled the medical kit from under the table,
