Chapter 1538

Noah climbed to the passenger seat and rummaged frantically through the car's compartments. But no matter how hard he searched, the safety hammer was nowhere to be found. Suddenly, Noah heard a huge bang. He looked up only to see the car door opening as Terence reached his hand out for him. "Hurry up, get out!" Terence yelled. Noah didn't hesitate to take Terence's hand. With a pull and a leap, he got out of the car. "Janie is conscious, but Ms. Salman and Uncle Hayden are out cold!" Noah told Terence the minute he got out of the car. Terence moved to the other side of the car as he yelled, "Get to safety first!" Then, he shattered the backseat window with a pair of pliers. Seeing him help, many onlookers mustered the courage to come forward and lend a hand as well. Hayden was safely taken out of the car, while Terence carefully carried Janet through the car window. Janet hugged Terence's arm and sobbed, "Mister, please help Mommy! I don't have a daddy—Mommy's all I have left.
