When Simon saw me coming, he thought I was there to admit my mistakes.
He let out a cold snort. "Didn't you act all tough yesterday? Here to beg for forgiveness now?"
Tiffany, fiddling with the director's work ID, looked at me with a proud smirk. "I'll admit that you're good at your job. If you beg and apologize, I'll give you a chance and let you start over in my team as a junior."
Simon sneered arrogantly. "Does she even deserve that? We need someone to clean the toilets. If you need a job, beg me, and I'll give it to you."
They both burst into loud laughter after they finished speaking.
I remained silent, but one of the lawyers behind me stepped forward and warned them to speak carefully.
Simon glanced at the lawyers behind me and burst out laughing again. "Sienna, if you want a cut of the project's profits, just say it. There's no need to hire actors. You think grabbing some thug off the street and throwing a suit on him makes him a lawyer?"
