Seeing the situation downstairs, Giselle quickly retreated to the bedroom and changed out of her sleepwear into regular clothes. Since everyone was already here, she couldn't hide. So she composed herself, stepped out of the room, and walked downstairs as if nothing ever happened. In the living room, Dorothea looked around and muttered to herself. "Where has Benjamin gone off to? And the housekeepers, they vanished into thin air, the lot of them!" Renee and Anne found it strange too—the villa was unusually quiet. Even if Donovan weren't home, the housekeepers would have already come out to greet them warmly. Anne was the first to notice Giselle coming downstairs. Her eyes immediately sharpened, and she stormed over, demanding, "What are you doing here?" Everyone else turned to look at Giselle too. Dorothea's face visibly darkened upon seeing her. Giselle ignored Anne and calmly walked over to greet Dorothea. "Good morning, Mrs. Kane Senior. Are you here to see Mr. Kane? I can cal
