Chapter 98

Scarlett immediately walked over to him, people were already crowding in when they heard the loud crashing noise. "Cole....Cole....are you okay?" Scarlett asked. It was easy to tell how scared she was from her voice. She was trembling in fear now. Cole opened his eyes weakly and looked at Scarlett. He smiled when he saw the panicked look on her face. Scarlett was blown away. Is this person really in the mood to smile right now? "Hey, are you in the mood to smile right now? Are you okay?!" Scarlett asked. It took all it had in her to hold herself back from crying. Anyway, if he had not stepped in, she would be the one lying on the ground right now. "Do I look okay to you?" Cole asked, his words were slurring and he was in a lot of pain but he was happy that he had been able to help Scarlett. Actually, he had seen Sonia picking a fïght with Scarlett again. He was going to help her when he saw the equipment cut loose. Experience told him that it was something that someone had probably tempered with but he did not have the time to care much about that. Without thinking twice, he saved Sonia while putting himself on the line. Scarlett would forever be grateful to him for that. Outside, the sound of an ambulance could be heard. It seemed that someone had already called an ambulance. Scarlett was thankful to whoever did that. Her mind was a complete mess right now and it was difficult to organise her thoughts. The paramedics came in carrying a stretcher. Cole was lifted on to the stretcher and Scarlett followed behind him comforting him. Anyway, this happened to him because of her. She had to be at the hospital to know what the extent of the damages were. .......... Sonia paced up and down in her dressing room as she listened to the noises outside. Everyone was talking about how Cole got injured. Sonia's heart was in her stomach right or. She just hoped that one one would be able to trace it back to her. But how realistic was that hope of hers? They would have to see about that. She had immediately left the scene when she saw that the person injured wasn't Scarlett but Cole instead. Damn that Scarlett seriously! Why does she have so many people protecting her? She was already married to Ryder and yet she still goes out seducing people!' Cole isn't even afraid to give up his life for her! This was so damn annoying! This incident was supposed to finish Scarlett off for good or at least give her a lifetime injury. She was hoping that even if she survived it Scarlett won't be able to show her face in the industry again. But who knew that she was going to get lucky over and over again?! Sonia did not know who the person who wanted to get rid of Scarlett was but she was happy since it meant that Scarlett had offended a number of people and that she won't be able to survive for much longer! Who knew that this was going to happen?! It would be fine if this was pronounced to be just an accident and left at that but if people find out that someone had messed with the equipment.... Sonia swallowed a gulp. She did not want to think about the possibility of that. She knew that she would be finished for good then! She could tell that Scarlett already suspecting someone when she snapped her hands away from her just now. And besides, everyone knew that Cole's family was not one that could be messed with. She was really having a headache thinking about all of it. Will she be able to get out of this incident this time? Just then, the door to her dressing room opened and someone walked in. Sonia jumped when she heard someone walk in. Did they already figure out something? But she calmed down when she saw that it was just Jenna. Jenna glanced at Sonia. She had been with Sonia for a few years and she knew her well enough to know that she was hiding something right now. She has been acting strange all these days and now an accident that could have potentially destroyed Scarlett happened. Anyway with a brain could put two and two together and see who had done something like this. So Jenna did not beat around the bush with Sonia. "What did you do Sonia?" Jenna asked. She was stern now. Sonia tried to hide the guilt that was evident on her face. "What are you talking about Jenna? I don't know what you are talking about at all!" Sonia denied it. Jenna let out an eerie laughter. She wasn't expecting Sonia to give herself away so soon. Seeing that she kept it away from her even it must be a really big deal. She just hoped that Sonia knew the consequences of what she was doing. She did not want to be dragged down with this idioit. "Do you think that I'm an idoit? Or do you think that I don't know you at all Sonia? I told you to stay away from Scarlett for now until we get something to deal with her. You had been listening to me but you have been acting strange for a few days. You even went to provoke her today and something almost happened to her. Do you think that everyone else is as stupid as you? It's easy to see who is behind this! You have been acting weird going behind my back to take calls, what are you planning?" Jenna asked. Jenna thought that Sonia knew the boundaries that she could not cross but it turned out that she was wrong. She doesn't know anything at all! She keeps causing trouble all the time. To think that she was even bold enough to target someone's life this time. It was even more worrying that the person who got hurt in the end was Kyle. Everyone knew that he did not have an ordinary background. This wasn't going to be simple at all Sonia was starting to get scared now when Jenna analyzed it for her. What should she do? What should she do? That person already told her that she should not call her at all and that she was going to be the only one to make the calls. Since she messed up and wasn't even able to get Scarlett, she wasn't sure that that person was going to care about her now. Jenna saw that she had scared Sonia enough now. "Let me ask you one question Sonia. This had something to do with you right? But you aren't workings alone. Who did you do it with?" Jenna asked. She needed to know what was going on if she was going to clear this mess. She knew that Scarlett was smart. Her mind was a mess now because of the incident but she knew that once she calmed down, she would be able to think about how weird all of this was and she would be able to trace it back to Sonia. Of course, if it was something that she could not deal it, she could just abándon Sonia and let her desk with her mess alone. "Jenna.....what am I going to do? Someone contacted me....they told me that they wanted to get rid of Scarlett....I thought that we didn't need to go the long way anymore...we could just use someone's hand to get rid of her....." Sonia said. She was trying hard not to cry now. What was she even thinking in the first place? If Kyle wakes up, and knew that she wasn't ever going to get out of this easy Jenna rolled her eyes.what does she mean by using someone's hand? She was the one that was used here all right! She is the stupid one here! The person who told her to do it properly saw how stupid Sonia was and how easy it was to use her. "Tell me everything that happened first" Jenna said. She had to know the beginning of all of this first if she wanted to do anything. "Well this person said that she doesn't like Scarlett and that she wants to get rid of her. We weren't supposed to do it today, but it seems that something happened and she was in a hurry....the equipment that fell...I messed with it...she said that she was going to pay....I hate Scarlett anyway and I can get money from dealing with her so I thought that I should just do it...I did not think that that Kyle was not afraid to die because of Scarlett..she is already married.... why on Earth is he still interested in her?" Sonia asked. Jenna saw how Sonia complained about Scarlett without even knowing what was really wrong here and she shook her head. This person is such an idoit whom she did not want to deal with anymore. Sonia who was on the verge of breaking down and she thought of something. "Why....why don't we sell this news to the media? We can spin it our favour. Scarlett almost got hurt from filming today and Cole was ready to give his life to save her.... write it in a way that will make people question thier relationship. We already have the photos from thier interactions. I'm sure that no one will doubt this story. Anyway, Scarlett is still in the hospital and she won't be able to deal with this right now. By the time she gets out of hospital, everything would have already been settled. Don't you think that this is good?" Sonia asked. Jenna shook her head. To think that Sonia can think of something like this at this time. If she did not have something to do with the accident, maybe this would have worked in her favour but since she did it herself..... This would only be counter productive. Once Scarlett calms down, she is going to attack Sonia back. And she even has evidence of all the things that Sonia has done all these years in her hand, it would be sure to destroy Sonia for good this time but Sonia doesn't even know about it and she's thinking that she has a good plan this time. Jenna has already given up on this artist of hers. This was the last straw for her. They could play some tricks to get to to the top but messing with someone's life wasn't something that Jenna could do at all. She did not have tht guts. Especially when the person involved was the temperemental Cole. In fact, Jenna was almost sure that Sonia was going to end up in jail once all of this was over. But she wasn't about to tell her now. Since she thinks that she has a way out, she would just let her have hope. "Alright then. If you want to do that, you can do it. Get someone to spread the news" Jenna said. Anyway, she wasn't going to get involved herself. She was washing her hands off Sonia now. Sonia felt that there was something wrong with Jenna but she was under a lot of pressure now and she did not have the time to think about it. She was only thinking about how she was going to hit Scarlett when she was done. "Okay.... I'm going to do it... Seriously Scarlett...does she think that she will be able to escape from me? She keeps telling me that I slept my way to the top but I don't think that she's much different from me! I'm going to make sure that she won't be able to get up this time!" Sonia said.
