Matt smiled when he heard that. Ryder was right he just had to be persistent. He could still remember the advice that Ryder gave him. He just had to pester her shamelessly and make sure that he was always by her side to the extent that she will get used to seeing him. He could see now that for the first time, that Ryder had finally done something right! "Don't worry Rose, I'll never let you down!" Matt said. ..... A few weeks later Matt was leaving work when he saw his mother walk up to him. It seemed that she just got here. After he found out what his mother's goal was , he was really angry. Previously, he did not have any hopes from this mother. It wasn't like he was a child who was going to miss his mother accompanying him, so he did not rest care. But when he thought about how she had come back because she wanted to use him, he was angry. To think that she was even ready to use the marriage of a son that he had never cared about before to get her goal, he was angry. But he held it back. They were some things that he still needed to do. "Mom....why are you here again?" Ryder asked. No matter how much he wanted to pretend, he could not help but be cold to this woman who only thought about him when she wanted to use him. Kate frowned when she heard that. She felt that there was something wrong with his question. What does Ryder mean by why she is here? He is her son. Does she need a permit to come see him? I'm your mother, can't I come see you when I want to see you?" Kate asked. Ryder suppressed the disgust that he www feeling and said, "I didn't say that mom . Of course mom, you can come see me if you want to see me" only Ryder knew the effort that it took him to say those words to his mother She really knew how to annoy him! "Okay....let's have coffee? I have something that I want to talk you about..." Kate said. She had already called Mira before she came here She would be waiting for them at the cafê and then they were going to concidentally run into each other. Speaking of Mira, Kate felt like there was something wrong with the girl when she called her earlier today She seemed like she had been crying. Well, Kate did not really care as long as she could get what she wants from Mira. Whatever problems that she had was none of her business. Seeing the look in Kate's eyes, Ryder could already guess that Mira was going to be there. He knew that he had to reduce the number of concidences. He could not keep "running'" into Mira. Ryder suddenly thought of something. "Right mom...since we are going to have coffee, I should call Scarlett. You haven't met her before, don't you want to meet your daughter in law?" Ryder asked whole smiling. Kate frowned when she heard that. She did not like the way Ryder was looking at her. It made her feel as if he already knew all of her secrets. Since he already said it like this, there was no way that she could say that she did not want to see Scarlett right? But.... "Ryder...we haven't seen each other in ten years. I just want to sit down and talk with you. Is that too much to ask of you? I don't want there to be outsiders there" Kate asked. Ryder laughed in his heart. He did not want any outsiders to be there but Mira was already waiting there for them? What kind of international joke was this? "Mom, how can you say that? Scarlett is my wife. How can you say that she is an outsider?" Ryder asked in a hurt voice. Kate ".....!!" Good! Very good!! This son of hers was good! She had underestimated him obviously. After that night, the man could already tell that the relationship between the both of them had changed. Even though, Scarlett was never going to admit it, at least he knew in his heart that it had changed. "Honey, my mom wants to meet you. Can you come to XXX cafê near the company?" Ryder asked. Kate "......!!!!!!" What sorcery is this?! When did she say she wanted to meet Scarlett? Ryder is clearly the one who wants her to meet his so called wife! Very good!!!! It seemed that she had underestimated this son of hers! But she calmed down her heart when she thought about the woman that she had met yesterday. She had learnt that Scarlett had a rival in the production team.. She won't be able to do much if she doesn't get Scarlett out of the way. Kate was someone who would not hesitate to do bad things. She knew that Mira wasn't someone who could do extreme things. She had to say that Ethan and Brenda pampered that girl a lot. She still had no idea how dangerous the business world was! But she was smart. Despite what she doing, she already knew that Ryder and Scarlett's relationship wasn't affected at all. If she wants to win, she has to get rid of the woman. Once Scarlett was out of the way, Mira did not even need to marry Ryder. She just has to stay by his side and get what she wants from him. Seeing an opportunity when Ryder was talking to Scarlett on the phone, Kate brought out her phone and texted someone. "Tell everyone, we are moving the plan to today. Make sure that Scarlett won't be able to leave the set today!" Kate knew that Scarlett was a shrewd woman. She wasn't any worse than herself. She wasn't going to take chances Ryder was already done talking to Scarlett. Seeing they his mother was texting someone, he texted Scarlett, "I already found out why my mom is doing this. Don't worry, we'll put an end to everything today" Ryder turned to his mother after he sent out the text. "Mom, let's go" he said. Kate smiled. "Okay. Scarlett will be coming right?" Kate asked. When she asked that question, a glint of light flashed past her eyes, it was especially sinister. . Ryder of course did not miss it. What is his mother planning again? "Yes" he said cautiously. The both of them set of. ... When they got to the cafe, as expected, Mira was there. Ryder sneered. He pretended not to see her and went to a seat with his mother. Soon enough as expected, Mira walked up to them. "Kate? I didn't know you were going to be here!" Mira said. "Mira?! This is such a wonderful concidence!" Kate said, obviously excited. Ryder felt like he was watching a live clown show, seriously, if the both of them are going to lie to him they should at least think about upgrading the quality of thier acting first right? What kind of crappy acting is this? What do they think that they are doing in front of him right now? But still, Ryder did not call them out. He wanted to see where the both of them were going to take this. He wanted to see where this whole thing was going. And as for his mother, Ryder really did not know what he was supposed to feel. He should be disappointed, but he did not know how he was supposed to be disappointed with someone who left without saying a single word years ago. How is he supposed to be disappointed? "Can I sit here Ryder?" Mira asked. "Of course! Mira sit!" Kate said pulling her down to sir. They ordered coffee and started talking. "Oh right Ryder. I hope that you've explained to your wife about us. The news....she should not misunderstand...." Mira said. Kate snorted. "what's there to be misunderstand? I really don't like women like her!" "Kate...but she's Ryder's wife...she can't be that bad right? " Mira said. "Hmph! You don't know what those women are like. Once they see some rich man, they'll do anything to get married to him just for money! You have to be careful!" Kate said. Ryder, you really must not get fooled by such a woman! You have to be careful so that you don't get fooled!" Kate said.
