Untitled ****** Scarlett stood outside the customs at the airport waiting for Ryder. She was wearing a pair of sunglasses so that she won't be noticed. Besides the fact that she disgused herself really well, she was still looking around fearing that there was someone who was following her. After all, when she left one month ago, they had managed to find her and even follow her all the way to country Z. She just came back from her honeymoon. Rose had already filled her in on what was happening. She would soon start filming. She did not want to create any sensational news that would affect the filming. Ryder walked out of customs dragging two suitcases with him. Scarlett turned over to look at him with some pity. She wanted to help him but she held herself back. Hmph! After all, he is the one who wanted to do it. Why should she bother herself. Ryder came over to her with a smile plastered on her face. "I already called Matt. He is already on his war to pick us up" Ryder said still smiling. Scarlett glanced over at him and nodded, acknowledging what he said. Ryder could tell that Scarlett was embarrassed, especially after what happened a few days before.... But he really did not want to bring it up or tease her with it. Who knows how she is going to react? Besides right now, he still wanted to win her favour. He isn't going to do anything that will make her angry and then put himself in an unfavourable situation. He can't be that stupid. Just then, Ryder looked up and saw Matt walking towards him. But there was someone else behind him. It was Scarlet's manager Rose. Ryder did not think much of it. Since she is Scarlet's Manager, it's only right that she is here to pick her up too right? After all, she was here to send her off too that day. "Scarlett!" Rose called out. Then she went for Scarlett completely ignoring Matt. Matt "....." Somehow, the both of them had come here to pick up Ryder and Scarlett in the same car but all through the ride, she refused to say a single word to him. Now she is even treating him like air. He could not help but blame that Kaira. It's all her fault! Did she have to show up and make Rose misunderstand the relationship that she has with him? Now, no matter what he said to Rose, she did not want to listen! She did not believe him at all! She was confident that tht things that she thought about him from the beginning were true. Matt wanted to cry out! He wasn't like that! He wasn't like that at all! Ryder and Kaira, knowing these two people has done more harm than help in his life! He really regretted getting to know the both of them! Why on Earth was he was unlucky as to meet the both of them? He thought that he could still talk to Rose today since the both of them were going to pick up Ryder and Scarlett, who knew that it was going to backfire like this? It really was annoying! The smile that was on Scarlett's face did not seem so awkward and stiff when she saw Rose. But she immediately looked behind Rose and saw Matt following behind her with a helpless look on his face. Scarlett felt that something was off and so she looked at Rose. Even though Rose had a nonchalent look ok her face, Scarlett could tell immediately that something was wrong. Rose was trying to ignore Matt. Why does she need to ignore him? What kind of relationship did they have? What really happened in the one month that she was away? Scarlett already made a mental note that she will have to talk with Rose and find out just what is going on. "Scarlett! You are finally back!" Rose said. She was all smiles. But she did not spare a glace for Ryder. Not only was she ignoring Matt, she was also ignoring Ryder. Hmph! They are all the same people! There's nothing good about any one of them at all! They are all so annoying. It was such a relief that there was really nothing going on between him and Scarlett. The both of them can jolly go on thier seperate ways after six ....no after five more months. Ryder "....." He was sure that he had never even had a proper conversation with this woman before. Where did this sense of hostility come from? What is going on? He looked over at Matt and Matt looked away, trying to avoid his gaze. Ryder was bewildered. Okay, what the heck happened while he was away. Matt walked over to Scarlett and Ryder. He slapped Ryder on the shoulder friendly before turning to look at Scarlett. Even though he was looking at Scarlett, his eyes were on Rose. Then Matt said, "Scarlett you really have a good relationship with your manager" Scarlett rasied an eyebrow. If she wasn't sure before, she was sure now. Something has definitely happened between these two people. "I guess so?" Scarlett made it a question. Rose rolled her eyes. What is this person trying to do now? "Hahaha....." Matt laughed awkwardly. He really wanted to say something to relive this awkward atmosphere but he did not know what to say. He could only laugh awkwardly. "Rose and I will leave first" Scarlett said. She had already been gone for one month. She had to meet with the production team for the drama and settle everything so that she can start filming as soon as possible. "Alright" Ryder said. His happy smile was still plastered on his face. Matt looked at Scarlett and then looked at Ryder who was smiling like a fool. He instantly noticed that Ryder was responsible for all thier luggages. Scarlett is just going to leave everything to Ryder? And Ryder is doing it without complaining? What is going on here? Can someone please explain to him what kind of sorcery is this? It did not make sense at all! "Are you just going to leave everything to Ryder?" Matt asked. He could not hold in his curiousity anymore. He really did not understand this strange sense of peace between Scarlett and Ryder. Not, it wasn't a sense of peace. It seemed that Scarlett was trying to make trouble for Ryder and Ryder was just giving in to her. What the hell happened between these two people when they were away? The smile that was on Ryder's face darkened. What the hell is wrong with Matt? Why on Earth does he have such unreliable friends? Scarlett cast a shilling smile on Matt. "you can ask Ryder. Does he not not want to do it?" There was a lot of hidden meaning in those words. Matt ".....????!!!" Can someone please explain to him what is going on? When did this second generation Ryder heir become someone that can be ordered around by Scarlett? "You don't have to listen to him Scarlett. Of course I want to do it. How can I dare not to do it? I'm happy to do it!" Ryder said. It seemed like he was trying to suck up to Scarlett now. Even Rose could no longer maintain the indifferent look that was on her face. Someone please explain what is going on right now. She did not think that Ryder was someone who would listen to others...but he was happily listening to Scarlett now. What did Scarlett do to him? It really is amazing..... "Alright. We'll leave now" Scarlett said pulling Rose along. She was trying to to seem tough but she really did not dare to look at Ryder in the eye. It was too much for her! Seriously, did he have to do that?! The both of them are in a different position now because of that! What really is wrong with him? Matt could only watch as Scarlett walked away and Ryder stared after her with a silly smile on his face. "Hey, what is wrong with you? Why do you keep staring after her? And why are you even letting her order you around?" Matt asked. Immediately Scarlett was out of sight, the smile that was on Ryder's face disappeared. He immediately returned to his haughty and aloof self. It really was an eye opener for Matt. Seriously,if he is so talented, then he should become an actor then! The company would be sure to support him! "Why are you asking so many questions? Here, take this!" Ryder said. And with that, he shifted the suitcases to his friend. Anyway, Scarlett wasn't here so he did not have to put on an image of being considerate for her right? Matt really wanted to ask himself why he came here. He was ignored all the way by Rose and now Ryder was treating him as a bell boy, carrying his luggages for him. His life, it's really pitiful! ******* Scarlett and Rose were sitting in a cafe. Scarlett still had her disguise on. Rose could not hold in her curiousity anymore. She instantly asked Scarlett, "What's going on between you and Ryder?" Scarlett looked up at her, her heart skipping a beat. Did Rose notice something? Actually, she wasn't sure either. She wasn't sure what their relationship was as of yet. What really is going on between them? "What are you talking about? There's nothing!" Scarlett denied it vehemently. Rose wasn't convinced. "Are you sure? Because just now, it seemed as if something was up" "What are you talking about? Why would something be up with me and that person? I should be the one asking you the question. What's going on with you and Matt?" Scarlett felt that the best way to avoid this was to shift the focus. And she just happened to think of the interaction between Rose and Matt. Rose was speechless.
