She Won't see Him Anyway Vivian has always been calm headed. She would surely know what to do. Back then, she tried so hard to stop her from getting involved with Ethan. Too bad.. she didn't listen. She really hoped that Vivian would help her think of something. She herself knew how terrible Scarlett's opinion was of her father. But in the end, Scarlett is still a young woman. What if that man tricks her? She really could not understand the reason why he was even back and he was looking for Scarlett in the first place. What does he think that he'll be able to do for her now? She already has her own life now. She doesn't need him anymore. he did not show up when his daughter really needed him to show up. What does he think that he can do for her right now? Vivian spat out the coffee that she was drinking when she heard what Vanessa said. "What did you say?" She asked. She was alarmed. She did not expect something like this. "I said that he is back! I saw Ethan today! He came back to country M!" Vanessa said. She had not gotten to the part of him wanting to see his daughter again. She had to take it slowly from here on. "He came back?" Vivian asked. She was calmer now. She already accepted the fact that he was back. She looked at Vanessa's face, trying to find out the reason why she was still uneasy. Is it because she still thinks that there is an opportunity for them to get back together? She would be really worried for Vanessa if she still has hopes for a man that hurt her the way that Ethan hurt her. She thought that she was already over that man since a long time ago. Was she wrong? "Yes. He came back! He even..even already has a daughter. She crashed into my car and demanded a compensation for me. Really I have never seen a person as rude as that young woman" Vanessa said. Vivian looked at Vanessa. She did not want to guess the pain that she was feeling right now. She knew that it was definitely a lot. After all, she had given the greater part of her youth to that man. He already has a daughter? But it Ethan has a daughter....is she old enough to drive? Just how old is his daughter? Vivian was really curious about this. "He already has a daughter who drives? Just how old is this daughter of his?" Vivian asked. True to her character, she was trying her best to remain calm. Vanessa was quiet when she heard this. Even though she did not want to care about that man anymore, the fact that he already has a daughter that is already as old as Scarlett still hurt. It meant that he has already betrayed her since a long time ago. Probably from the beginning of thier Marriage or before she married him. There was never a time when that man war true to her. No matter how much she tried to act as if she was not bothered by him, she still wasn't okay with that daughter of his. Just what does that man take her for? "Yes. His daughter should already be as old as Scarlett" Vanessa said. "What?!" No matter how calm Vivian usually was, she could not hold herself back after hearing this. What the hell is the meaning of this? That man has a daughter as old as Scarlett? What exactly did he take Vanessa for? How can he treat her this way? "This seriously..he already has a daughter as old as Scarlett? He already betrayed you from the beginning? He wasn't even loyal from the beginning as we thought? What kind of trash is Ethan?" Vivian asked Vanessa seriously thought that it was disrespectful to trash to call him a trash! "Whatever. I don't care about him anymore. He already wasted the best part of my youth I was stupid for that man. I don't have to care anymore. I'm just confused... why did he come back this time? He came back five years to get a divorce properly and end things with me...so why is he back again?" Vanessa asked. This was something that she could not figure out He said that he left because he did not want to have anything to do with her anymore. He did not want to meet her anymore. But he actually did come back this time and the both of them even managed to run into each other immediately. What kind of plot twist is this? Vivian sighed before she answered Vanessa "I heard that his wife Brenda passed away a few years ago. She was suffering from last stage cancer" Vivian said. "Oh..." Hearing that that woman died, Vanessa really did not feel anything. Whether it was victory that she died or sadness, she did not feel anything. After all, it takes two to clap. Even though she took Ethan away from her, he was never true to her to begin with. If it wasn't her, it would have been another person. she did not need to be concerned about the life and death of such a person. It did not have anything to do with her. "Seriously, what does he take you for? How wife died and he comes back? What does he take this place for?" Vivian asked. She was truly angry for Vanessa. After all, this has been dragging on for so many years. Ethan just did not want to put an end to it completely. It seemed that he enjoyed playing this push and pull game with Vanessa a lot. Vivian suddenly thought of something that was the most important. Vanessa did not have any plans of going back right? "You ...don't have any plans of going back to Ethan right? His wife already died so he should be single now... if he wants...." Vivian did not get to finish her words. "Vivian!" Vanessa yelled cutting her off. "I know that I have done a lot of stupid and foolish things in my life. I know that I didn't do well when I was young, falling for that kind of trash man and giving up everything for him, but I don't think that I'm stupid to the extent that I don't want my life anymore. Seriously, why will I want to go back to such a person?" Vanessa asked. She was really angry just thinking about it. Thoughts of ever being with that man again in this life really made her want to puke. Vivian sighed in relief when she heard that. But is Vanessa really serious about this? What if she goes back with some coaxing from Ethan? The panic that was on her face when she mentioned that he was back...that panic was real. "Are you sure that you won't go back?" Vivian asked. "Vivian, I've been through a lot of things. I waited for fifteen years for him to come back. He came back and told me to my face that he regretted ever having anything to do with me in this life. He didn't even want to see my daughter...he told me he wasn't sure if she was his....forget other things...but for the fact that he doubted the fact that Scarlett is his, I'll never have anything to do with him!" Vanessa said. Scarlett was her sore point. She never wanted to have anything to do with him because of Scarlett. She was suffering a lot trying to make a name for herself in the entertainment industry...and her father was doubting that he has anything to do with her. How can she ever get together with such a man? Her concience won't let her do something like that at all! Vivian was really relieved now when she saw his serious Vanessa was with this. But.... "But, why were you panicking so much when you told me that he was back?" Vivian asked. "It's because he wants to meet Scarlett! Do you even believe the guts of that man!" Vanessa asked. Being with Vivian that she has known for the greater part of her life, Vanessa poured out all the things that she has in her heart. "He wants to meet Scarlett?" Vivian asked. She really did not want that trash man to have anything to do with her niece but Scarlett was now an adult. Speaking objectively, no matter what happened between her parents, Vanessa can't stop her right? Coupled with the fact that Vanessa won't ever tell Scarlett what happened back then.... "Yes" came the reply. "You know that you won't be able to stop him if he really wants to see Scarlett right? If Scarlett wants....you can't stop her right?" Vivian asked. Vanessa sighed. She knew that this is the most important factor. "Of course I know that Vivian. I know that I won't be able to stop her. But that man actually came to me and told me that he wants me to help him meet Scarlett. How can there be someone who is so irresponsible in this life? If he really wants to meet his daughter whom he didn't want to have anything to do with before should he not put the effort? Where does he find he guts to ask me to do something like that for him?" Vanessa asked. "Bastard!" Vivian, the good natured woman who rarely lost her temper suddenly cursed. She was already this old and she had seen a lot of things but she had never met anyone that was as shameless as Ethan! He still knows how to ask Vanessa this? "I know that I can't stop it but I really don't want my daughter to have anything to do with that man in this life !" Vanessa suddenly said. Vivian took her hand. "I can understand how you feel Vanessa. Scarlett is my niece and I don't want the both of them to meet too! How can he be so shameless?" Vivian asked. Fir the first time, she really had the urge to hit someone. Who does he think that he is? Abandoning Scarlett and Vanessa and picking them up whenever he wants to? Does he think that they are people who don't have relatives? That he can do whatever he wants to the mother and daughter? What sort of rubbish is this? "I'm not worried about Scarlett. I know that she won't see him anyway! All these years, I know how deep Scarlett's hatred is for her father! She doesn't know half of the things he did and she thinks that he only left without coming back but she still hates him. The person I'm scared of is Ethan. What if he dies something to her?" Vanessa asked. She won't be able to take it if something happens to her daughter. Vivian thought about what she said. Vanessa was right. She knew very well what Scarlett's temper was like. The first time she met that young lady, she was frightened stiff by her temper. She seemed like the female version of her son Cole. The both of them dis not even know each other and they have very similar temper. Vanessa was right though. What if that trash man Ethan wants to do something to her? To think that he even wants to see Scarlett now when he did not want to see her years ago and when he already has another daughter. That was suspicious enough. Who knew what kind of plans that he had for her niece? Vanessa is just a woman. She won't be able to stop such a a scheming man who doesn't have any principles at all.
