Auction (2) Mira ".....!!!!!!!" She really wanted to vomit blood now! She did not know that Scarlett was so sharp tounged! She thought that she would be able to trap her with her words. She did not know that the woman was actually this smart. There was nothing that she could say to her at all. Mira could only supress the anger that she had in her heart right now and grit her teeth while giving a fake smile. No matter what, she had a plan for standing close to the door since morning waiting for either Scarlett or Ryder to come out. She had to make sure that she got what she wanted. Scarlett sneered when she was the fake smile that was on her face. Does she really think that such cheap tricks will be able to do anything to her? Does she think that she will fall for her trap and she won't have anything to say. Scarlett had seen a lot of these tricks ever since she entered the entertainment industry five years ago. If she wasn't smart, then there was no way that she could have gotten to where she is now. She had to be extra careful with every single word that she said before she became Popular. Other wise she would not have made it this far. Does this woman think that she will be able to trap her with words? Hmph! She had better think again! It definitely won't be easy for someone like her to do anything to her. She was smarter than that. She was laughing at Mira and the both of them knew it. If Mira had any shame, she would stop talking right now and go into her room! But clearly, she did not have any kind of shame in her. She just wanted to keep causing a scene here. "It's good then. I was really scared whenever I thought about it. I thought that the relationship between the both of you will be affected because of what I did . It seems that the both of you are really in love. It didn't affect your relationship at all" Mira said. Scarlett sneered and then thought in her head. "Sure we are so in love. Your cheap tricks can't do anything to us at all" Scarlett was already tired of dealing with this woman. She didn't want to keep talking to her anymore. "Well, I hope that you have a nice vacation while you are here. I'm going in now" Scarlett said. Just talking to her was giving her a headache. She came here to relax. Not deal with women who wanted to hit on Ryder. Seriously why does she have to deal with this kind of situations for him? It's not as if the both of them are a real couple......yet Mira gulped when she heard that. She hadn't said what she really wanted to say it. She knew that Scarlett was really going to leave if she did not say it and so she reached out and held Scarlett's hand. "You haven't heard about it right? The hotel is holding some charity event. It's an auction. The money donated will be given to some children who are suffering from heart disease. The both of you should come" Mira said with a big smile plaster on her face. She wasn't giving Scarlett the chance to reject her at all. When she checked into this hotel yesterday, she had heard the staff talking about it. She wasn't interested in it at all. But when she thought about the possibility that she might see Ryder if the both of them went...she knew that she had to give it a chance. She thought that the person that she would run into was Ryder. Then she could give it to him herself and convince him to come. But Scarlett just had to be the one to come out. So even though she did not want to, she apologized and tried to trap Scarlett with her words. Who knew that Scarlett already saw through what she was trying to do. She didn't fall for it at all and she even made it impossible for her to say anything else. Mira was determined. One way or another. She had to make sure that these people come to the auction. Seeing the glint in her eyes, Scarlett did not need to think much before she figured out that this woman was planning something. What really is wrong with her? Does she not know how to back out? For goodness sake the man in question is already married! Does she really want to make herself a third party? They don't even know each other well ..they won't be seeing each other again once they leave this place. Does she really have to scheme this much for someone that she won't have the chance to see once she leaves this place? Scarlett did not really want to entertain her and so she refused to take it. "I'm really sorry but I don't think that we'll have the time to come" Scarlett said. She knew that the person this woman was inviting was Ryder and not her. "You won't have the time to come? That's really sad...I just feel bad for those kids....they are orphans...as if that isn't bad enough...they have to be sick. They can't even get the basic medicines for them to keep living...even if it's not much...I really want to do something for them" Mira said. Scarlett was really blown away by the shameless of this woman. If she feels bad for those children then she should go help them herself. Does she really need to pull her into it? And the way she said it now made it seem as if Scarlett is heartless. She won't even spare the time to help some poor kids even though she already heard about thier situation. Scarlett thought that a normal person really won't be able to deal with this woman. They were traps everywhere in her words. Scarlett still wanted to refuse without caring what this woman was going to think it say about her but she did not expect her to be even more shameless. "Scarlett...you are a Celebrity right? I wonder what your fans will think when they find out that you can't even spare the time to help out some poor kids" Mira said. She was smiling but her voice was eerie. It was clear that she was threatening her. She had better come or else people were going to find out about this. Scarlett really wanted to hand it to this woman. She has the ability to the shamelessly and make it seem as if she was going something right. Before Scarlett could say anything else, Mira pushed the invitation into her hand and then slammed the door on her face. Scarlett laughed because of her anger. This damn Ryder seriously! She has to deal with all kinds of scenarios because of him! ****** Kaira sat in the passenger sit of the car. After she was done shopping, her father absolutely refused to let her drive. She could tell that he was still angry because of what happened with that woman. But something told Kaira that he wasn't angry just because she crashed into the car and refused to apologise. If it hadn't been that woman's car, he won't be so angry. It was because it was that woman. Kaira had already pretty much figured out what they talked about. By the time she was done shopping, the woman was already gone and her father was sitting inside the car quietly. He seemed to be thinking about a lot of things. Kaira had no way of knowing what happened after she left and how they decided to settle the issue. She didn't even bother to ask her father because she knew that he won't ever tell her anything. Everyone who knew them was always talking about how her father really loved her and doted on her but only she knew what this man's feelings for her really were. He seemed that ever since her mother died, all the resentment that he had for her was instantly transferred to her. Because he could not continue being anger with her mom after she was dead, he was angry with her. She could not understand why her father was this way but Kaira did not care either. She felt that as long as they were able to stay out of each other's way then it was fine.she does not need to care about other things. "Kaira.... how exactly have you turned out? Seriously, what is wrong with your attitude? How can you crash into someone's car, refuse to apologise and even blame then when they did nothing to you? What the hell is going on with you!" Ethan asked breaking the silence. Kaira sighed and rolled her eyes in her head. It seemed that this man had not given up that topic. Seriously why is he bringing it up? Is it because he knows that woman? "Why are you so hung up on what happened? Is it because you know that woman?" Kaira said with a sneer in her voice. "You...." Ethan was so angry that he was speechless. Kaira was right. He was angry because the person that she disrespected like that was Vanessa. He thought that the main reason why Vanessa did not even want to have a proper conversation with him was because of how rude Kaira was to him. Because he could not understand how she could be so cold to him if it wasn't because she was angry because of what Kaira did. That woman used to live him so much back then. Even though he was gone for years, she did not stop loving him. She kept waiting for him to come back. And when he did come back, even when he was already with someone else, she did not give up. She kept trying to get to him. She left her family and everything else for him. He won't believe that her feelings that had lasted for more then twenty years was suddenly exhausted in five years. She must have been temporarily angry because of what Kaira did. Thinking about it now, the fact that he has a daughter must have come as a shock for her today. She did not know that at all. She did not know that he has another daughter besides Scarlett. "What? You can't say anything right? Isn't that because you know that I'm telling the truth? Who really is that woman? She is someone that you know right? You won't even let go of such a petty matter and you are scolding me because of her!" Kaira said. She was so so angry. Even though thier relationship as father and daughter wasn't good, at least he won't scold her for something like this. Most of the time, he ignored her. He woke never scold her like this. Just how important is this woman to him that he is being this way to her because of the woman? Kaira had a thought...she couldn't be... right? Things were only going to get messy then. "No matter who that woman is you have no right to treat people the way that you do! Stop acting as if everyone else is below you and you can treat people however you want. I didn't raise you to be like this!" Ethan said. He would never admit that it was because she was Vanessa. There was no way he would admit that now.
