I like You (2) "Ah...so Rose was the one who approached you...I never thought that Rose would do something like this...what is your relationship now?" Sonia said. The way she said it ..it made it seem as if Rose was the one pestering him. .Matt narrowed his eyes and glared at the woman who had been trying to get his attention since. He had completely lost his patience with her. Sonia was happy when she finally saw Matt look at her. She was prepared to charm but when she saw the look in his eyes...she froze. He was clearly angry. How did she manage to offend him? Sonia knew that someone like him could help her career but someone like him could also simply tramp all over her. How did she end up annoying such a person? Is it because of what she said about Rose? "I don't think our relationship has anything to do with you at all!" Matt said. His voice was clear enough and it carried some tinge of annoyance. Obviously, he had lost his patience with her. Sonia immediately shuddered. She didn't think that just saying a few words would get this man angry. Besides, everyone knew that while Matt always had a charming smile in his face, he could be completely ruthless when he was angry. There won't be anyone to save her then. She instantly tried to redeem herself. "I'm really sorry... I didn't mean anything wrong...I just thought that...Rose was pestering you...I was worried about you..." Sonia said while bating her eyelashes and looking as pitiful as possible. While she tried to beg for forgiveness, she did not forget to malign Rose and express her care for him. Jenna watched from the side as the man's expression darkened. What is really wrong with Sonia? Doesn't she know how to hold a conversation? He is already this angry because of what she said about Rose and Sonia just had to spell it out herself completely. As if that wasn't enough, she expressed her "care'" for him. Just who is she to care for him? Cant she think before she does the things that she does? Jenna was really thinking about a backup plan...she can't leave all her eggs in one basket after all. That was going to be too dangerous for her. "Rose pestering me? Do you really not know who is pestering me right now?" Matt asked in a sinister voice. It was clear that he had dropped all pretences now. He did not care at all Watching from the side, Rose really wanted to disappear from this place. Is he trying to make enemies of these two women and then throw her out to fight the war for him? How can he be so heartless to her?! Sonia's face went red with embarrassment when she heard that. She has indeed been the one pestering him asking all sorts of unnecessary questions. But perhaps because she really was courting death, Sonia did not feel the need to stop here. Instead, she went on. "Then, are you saying that you are in a relationship with Rose?" Forget Jenna. Even Rose gasped. This woman sure is stupidly bold. "Is there something wrong about that?" Matt asked. Not admitting it or denying it, but leaving them to think about it for themselves. It really was a great move! No matter how much she was courting death, Sonia really didn't dare to say anything else anymore. Matt was already tired of dealing with this woman anyway. He signalled to Rose. "Let's go" he said. Rose ".....!!!?" Great ancestor, isn't this situation bad enough for me as it is? I still have to leave with you! Don't you want to leave a way out for me at all!? How am I supposed to deal with the aftermath of all of this? Matt did not give Rose time to reject or accept. He simply took her hand and was going to walk away. Rose was completely stunned. Besides that, she really could not think of words for her to explain what's she was feeling right now. Seriously, what is this person trying to do? Kill her? Matt has walked a few steps with Rose when he stoped to look at Sonia. Sonia immediately shuddered when she saw his gaze. She wasn't excited at all. Because the way that he looked at her was really very scary. What is it now? She thought that he was too busy to deal with her and that he was going to leave her alone. Does he really not have any intentions of leaving her alone at all? "Ha...you are the one that said that you are going to find a backing and throw Scarlett and Rose out of the company right? I just want to know, who is so powerful as to intefere with MK entertainment matters?" Matt asked. Even though they were an entertainment company, those who knew knew that MK could not be messed with. As long as they wanted to venture into other areas, they would definitely become a large conglomerate in a few years. Sonia almost fell to the ground when she heard that. She was really annoyed when she said those words to Rose. Of course she did not really mean it. Maybe before she has plans of to hold on to Matt but looking at the man in front of her right now she was sure that it wasn't going to work at all. Seeing the woman scared out of her wits, Mart did not say anything more. He just gave her a bone shilling smile and walked away with Rose. Sonia almost wanted to cry when the man walked away. What has just happened? When she saw Matt she thought that she has a chance to get close to him. Even if she did not manage to seduce him outright, she would still manage to leave a good impression on him. But who knew that that slut Rose already went behind her back to seduce him, leaving her no chance to fîght back at all. What the hell is the meaning of this? When Rose and Matt were gone, Jenna could not hold back her anger again and started to scold Sonia. "Sonia, are you stupid or something? I keep telling yourself so many times that you have to think two times and three times about your actions before you do them! Are you stupid or something?" Jenna yelled. She was so angry. How could she have such a stupid artist? Sonia was already in a mad mood and she did not want to be scolded by her manager at all. "It's because I was in a bad mood!. Didn't you see what Rose was saying? She was threatening to finish me off for good! And she even managed to seduce the director! She is such a cheap slut!" Sonia retorted back. Jenna shook her head. This woman really has no sense left in her at all! "Even if you are angry, you should know how to read the situation. She now has something that could end you. Don't you know that if you do anything now she'll make it impossible for you to stay in the entertainment circle? Do you really want to give up all the hard work of so many years?" Jenna asked. No matter what, Sonia was an artist that Jenna rasied on her own. Having her destroyed at one go was definitely going to make Jenna angry. She did not want that at all. She really hoped that there would still be a way to save Sonia. "But, didn't you agree to the things that I did then? You said that everyone in the industry does something like this. You said that I have to fîght for myself if I want a chance. How can you blame me now.?" Sonia asked. Jenna's mouth twitched. What is wrong with this girl? Doesn't she have any common sense? Is this about agreeing to it or not? Does she want everyone to find out about the things that she's done? "Do you think that this is about agreeing to it or not? Even if everyone else does it, you need to know that you are the only disgusting person once you are exposed! You can't let that happen at all! People will take the chance to hit you when you are down if something like this ever gets exposed. You should know that well!" Jenna said Sonia rolled her eyes. She really didn't want to continue on this topic. Instead, she was thinking about ways to suppress that arrogant Scarlett and her manager. She would do anything to make life difficult for them! "Forget it. What job am I going to do next?" Sonia asked. She really wanted to change this topic. She didn't want to continue like this. "You have a lot of drama offers right now but the most tempting one is from the award winning director Jace. It's the second lead role!" Jenna said. Even a cameo on Jace's film is able to make it big, not to talk of a second lead. Sonia was definitely going to get a lot of publicity from this movie if she did it. It was fortunate that one of her sugar daddies had a good relationship with Jace. Otherwise, Sonia won't have been able to get in at all. Sonia frowned when she heard that it was a second lead role She squinted her eyes. Why didn't she get the first lead? "Second lead? Who is the first lead?" Sonia asked. There was some malice in her eyes. "The second lead is Scarlett" Jenna said as carefully as she could. She knew that Sonia was going to blow when she heard this but they did not have a choice. It was a really good opportunity. They would not give it up just because they are rivals with the female lead. . besides people were going to say that Sonia was scared of Scarlett once they learned of this. "Just think about it. This will be a good opportunity for you to supress Scarlett once and for all if you act better than her in this movie! Think about it, a second lead doing better than a first lead!"Jenna said. This was easier said than done though. Sonia knew that the best way would be so supress Scarlett with her acting. But the truth was that she could not do it. She knew that her acting could not be compared to Scarlet's at all. It was like the difference between the cloud and muds. There was no way that she could do that. But she knew that if she backed out now it was going to be bad for her. She could only decide to go along with it. Hmph! One of these days, she is seeing going to beat that Scarlett. She will make sure that Scarlett won't ever have the chance to show her face in the entertainment circle again. Jenna was that Sonia was starting to agree with what she said and so she decided to convince her more. "You should believe in yourself that you can do it Sonia. I'm sure that if you just put your heart to it you will be able to supress Scarlett!" Sonia didn't say anything but purse her lips. Jenna too smiled but it was a mocking smile. Beat Scarlett with Sonia's acting? What a joke! Even she knew that Scarlett will never be able to do something like that. It's clearly impossible for her to beat Scarlett with this crappy acting of hers! *****
