Meeting Matt Again Even if she wanted to fall in love, she was sure that he won't be a candidate at all! "Do you really think that I'm doing all of this because of the bet?" Ryder asked her. Scarlett rolled her eyes does he think that she is going to think other wise? Does he think that she is really that stupid that she is going to fall for whatever he is saying right now? She wasn't that muddle headed right now! "Of course. Isn't that the reason why you are doing this? Ryder, you really are cruel. You don't even think twice about sacrificing yourself like this! Don't you think that you are being too much?" Scarlett asked. It was clear that she had been keeping this in for a long time. "No! It isn't because of that stupid bet!" Ryder said. It was clear that he did not want her to continue to misunderstand him. Scarlett was stunned when she heard. What is this person talking about? Is he trying to play tricks on her again? Well he had better think twice because none of it is going to work on her. She already knows well what kind of person he is! A person that did not even think twice about sacrificing his goal.. there was nothing good about this person. It just shows that he doesn't have a bottom line at all. How can she believe anything that comes out of the mouth of this person? "Ha! You are really going out for this Ryder! You don't even care about sacrificing yourself like this. You really know how to leave me completely speechless'" Scarlett said. It was clear that she was mocking him. And she was having a lot of fun doing it. Ryder really wanted to slap a hand to his forehead. He already said that he isn't being like this because of that bet! Why doesn't she believe him? Why is her opinion of him so terrible? No ..he had to do something quick...he had to change this opinion that she had of him. Thinking about how it was his fault that things between the both of them are now like this, he calmed down. He is going to have a lot of time to fix things in the future. "I'm telling you that it's not because of the bet!" Ryder said. "Ha. Like I'm going to believe it !" Scarlett sneered. Ryder sighed. It seems that words aren't going to work. He is just going to show her what he is thinking with his actions. He bent down and tried to kiss her again. He did not give her the change the reject this time. Immediately she rasied her hand to push him away, he held up her hand above her head. Then his lips crashed on hers and he started to kiss her again. It was even more passionate than Before. Scarlett knew that she should push this man away but she just did not know how to reject him. This man...he isn't saying that he likes her? He did not give her the chance to say anything and bring up that damned bet again. "You are right Scarlett. I like you. I really do like you, I don't know when it all started but I know that I really do like you a lot right now....I know that these things coming from someone like me doesn't sound reliable at all...why don't you ..give me a chance? Give me a chance to show you just how much I really do like you..." Ryder said. "Scarlett "....." She was completely speechless. She did not know what she was supposed to say in this situation. This man...he likes her? How is something like this possible? So it isn't because of the bet? But he likes her? Scarlett was already in her twenties. It wasn't the first time that someone has confessed to her. On the contrary, she had a lot of men that confessed to her. But she had never been touched. There hasn't been a single one that has been able to touch her... But listening to this man telling her that he likes her right now, Scarlett felt her heart skip a beat. But, can the love of this person be trusted? Who knows if he just wants to mess around with her and ten dump her? It won't be strange for this person to do that. No matter what, she refused to believe that this person was really in love with her.. No matter what, she wanted to guard her heart. Ryder called her name. He already told her this much, yet she still doesn't believe that he loves her? What can he do to make her believe that he really does love her? "Scarlett, I know that it's hard for you to believe that someone like me loves you....I know that you think that I'm just trying to mess with you.... but it's true...it's been five years since I've felt this way...." Ryder said and stopped there. He did not want to talk about what happened five years ago. Even though he had already confirmed that he was over that person now he still did not want Scarlett to know about her. Besides, he has not even confirmed her relationship with her now. Maybe, all of those things should be left for later He is going to deal with them later. "Anyway, Scarlett...I'm not rushing you to give me an answer right now ...you can take your time with it...I'll be waiting for you....don't worry...just please believe me...my feelings for you, they are real" Ryder said. Scarlett stoped talking. Should she really believe that this person loves her? If she gave him a chance, then what is going to come out of it? Will they have a happy ending like other people's love stories? Or as expected, is she going to be hit with the harsh reality?she really did not want to get hurt... She did not think that she would be able to handle it if she ever got hurt.. "I...." Ryder wrapped his hand around Scarlett and pulled her into a hug. "Please believe me...my feelings for you....they are real....." ***** A few days later, Rose was at a popular shopping mall, shopping for clothes. Since Scarlett was not around, she had some rare free time to herself. She knew better than to go to a bar to get wasted so she did not think about that this time. . instead she went to a mall to shop and pass time. But it seemed as if trouble was following her wherever she went these days. The mall that she had chosen was a really high end mall and only people who had a lot of money and social standing in society would come here. Scarlett had been doing well since her debut and so she had made a lot of money just like Sonia. But she did not expect that she was going to meet Scarlett's ex nemesis in this same place. She was with her manager. Immediately Scarlett was them, they saw her. Thier eyes met. Scarlett knew that she won't be able to leave this place without getting a verbal battle. She rubbed her temples. She was already feeling stressed from tht mental battle they was going to happen. If it was up to Rose, she would choose to walk away and not get involved in this but those people won't let her off easily. Sonia and her manager Jenna smirked and walked over to Rose when they saw her. Sonia and Scarlett had debuted about the same time but Scarlett has always been one step ahead of her. As long as Scarlett was involved, Sonia would always been relegated to the role of the secondary character. And because of that, she developed a strong dislike for Scarlett. Scarlett wasn't someone who would lose out either. She was always lashing out with her tounge at Sonia and making her embarrassed. No matter what, Sonia had never won a verbal battle against Scarlett. Scarlett was always able to make her unable to speak. But that wasn't the only trigger for her hate for Scarlet.
