Let's Start Over? Ryder really thought that he would be able to control himself but when he saw her embarrassed look, he really did not want to hold back anymore. Anyway, he won't be able to do it even if he wanted to.. He bent down and kissed her. Scarlett was shocked. Even though she already thought that he wanted to do this..... She felt that a circuit went off in her brain...what is this man doing right now? "Ryder..." Scarlett opened her mouth and tried to tell him to stop but it just gave Ryder the advantage that he was looking for. Immediately she opened her mouth, he pushed his tounge into her mouth. The both of them continued to kiss, Scarlett was listless at first, letting him do whatever he wanted but she soon lost control of her rationality. She was lost in the kiss and she started to kiss him back. Why didn't she know that Ryder was such a rouge? He did not even give her a way out. There was no way that she would be able to reject him when she was already like this. Ryder pushed his tounge into her mouth and continued to suck...it seemed like he was trying to suck her soul out of her body... Scarlett finally could not bear it anymore. She tapped the man. "Ryder...." She called. She was already out of breath. Scarlett was scared that if they continued like this then she was going to faint for real. Ryder finally let go of her. He looked at the woman's face. It was a bright shade of red. Seeing her blushing like this, he really wanted to kiss her again. He made a move but she placed a hand on his chest pushing him away and putting some distance between the both of them. "What are you doing?" Scarlett asked him. Ryder was stunned. He had not thought about this question. What is he doing right now? Why did he kiss her like this just now? Just what is going on in his head? "I..." Ryder opened his mouth but then he realised that he could not say anything to her. He could not even make up a single sentence. His mind was blank. Completely blank. Scarlett sighed then she rasied her face to look at him. "I don't know what you are trying to do but let's stop here. Let's pretend that this never happened !" Scarlett said. She tried to walk away but he held her hand and pulled her back. "Where are you going?" He asked her. "Do I need to report that to you? Ryder you seem to be forgetting something here. The both of us are not really a couple. We don't need to get involved with what the other party is doing. About what you did just now, let's pretend that it never happened. Let's just take it that a mistake happened" Scarlett said. Her tone was firm. It was as if she had already made up her mind. "Pretend that it never happened? A mistake? Is that what you really think? What if I say that it's not a mistake?" Ryder asked her. When Scarlett heard that, her heart skipped a beat. She thought...does this person like her? But then she remembered the bet that he made...even though she never took that seriously it seemed that he took it really seriously because it had to do with his pride. Ha! He was really going all out because of the bet. What a joke! "Ha! You are really going all out because of the bet! Are you this desperate to get me to fall for you?" Scarlett asked him. She was really angry. She felt that this person was messing around with her feelings.. She had always the one to mess around with people's feelings and when it suddenly happened to her, she really did not know how she was supposed to react. She really did not like this feeling at all! Just what the hell is the meaning of this? Ryder stoped when he heard that. He had forgetten about the bet that he made with her...he did say something to her.... Scarlett...thinks that he is doing this because of the bet? Is that why her opinion of him is so bad? It was true that back then, he was really thinking about ways to get back at Scarlett. He had already thought out a plan to make her fall for him and ten abándon her...but he really did not want to do that at all.... "What if I say that it's not because of the bet? Scarlett I..." I'm not someone who is going to fall for such cheap tricks. You should leave that for those little girlfriends of yours!" Scarlett said. When she said this, she suddenly remembered the way that woman had looked at him earlier. She sneered in her heart. He should go tell all of this to that woman. She was sure that she would definitely fall for it. Just thinking about it made her even more mad. "Scarlett I...." Ryder wanted to say something but he did not know what to say. Besides, no matter what he said, she is not going to believe him easily. She already thinks that he is doing all of this because of the bet that he made with her. Besides, he wasn't clear what he was thinking right now. He had to calm down and think about what these weird feelings that he has were first. Then he would be able to have a good conversation with her. Whatever he said to her right now, she won't believe him and it was only going to seem like he was contradicting himself. He did not want to talk to her in such a situation. "Let's talk later" he said, walking away. Scarlett laughed when she saw him leave. She was laughing at herself. When did she become like this? When did she become this pitiful? She stops with just one word from him and the only thing that she gets is seeing his back as he walks away from her. How ironic is this? Scarlett shook her head. She had to clear her mind. She can't lose herself. She already knew why he was doing this. It should be easy for her to ignore his antics...but why is it getting more and more difficult as time went on? ***** Ryder walked away from Scarlett. He really needed to calm down. He did not expect that there was someone waiting for him though. Mira had been looking for Ryder. She wanted to talk to him again. She was really starting to hate Scarlett now. She was already so pretty, how can she have such an amazing boyfriend? She really wanted to get close to him. She did not care whatever anyone thinks. If she can get close to him, she won't need to have anything to do with that boyfriend of hers. "Hello" someone walked up to Ryder and said. Ryder wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone so he made to walk away but the woman certainly wasn't going to give up so easily. "Hi...I'm Mira. Can we talk?"she asked. Ryder rolled his eyes. He turned to look properly at the person talking to him. It turned out that it was the woman that had been making a scene before and was trying to embarrass Scarlett. What did she want from him now? Ryder did not even want to know. He just wanted to be as far away from her as possible. "I don't think that you and I have anything to talk about!" Ryder said. He did not try to be polite or hide his dislike for her. It was clear to Mira that he did not like her and he did not want to have anything to do with her. But just like her boyfriend, Mira was actually very thick skinned. She acted as if she could not see that he did not like her and that he did not want to talk to her. "Come on. of course we have a lot of things to talk about Maybe we should start by telling each other's names? I already told you my name. I'm Mira. What's yours?" She asked, flashing him what she thought was a seductive smile. Ryder rolled his eyes again. He could already tell what this woman was trying to do. Before, even if he did not like her, he would never let go of someone throwing herself to him like this. But now he was married, he knew that no matter how much of a jerk he was, they were some boundaries that he could not cross at all. And ever since he got to know Scarlett, he found out that all other women that he met seemed to pale in comparison to her. Like right now, he was already making a comparision between Scarlett and this woman in his mind without even knowing about it. He found out that she could not hold a candle to Scarlett at all. "I think that you are here with your boyfriend. Does he know that you are flirting me here?" Ryder asked her. Clearly, he had already seen through her antics. Mira was embarrassed. She thought that even though he saw it, he won't call her out like this. He did not spare a thought for her at all. She smiled to mask her embarrassment. Since it's already like this, the only option that she had now was to plurge head in right into this. "Boyfriend? I already broke up with him" Mira lied without bating an eyelid. Without giving Ryder a chance to get a single sentence in, she continued talking. "I realized that a man who is easily seduced isn't worth my time at all. I don't need someone like him " Mira said. She said that he was seduced and not that he was trying to flirt with Scarlett because she wanted to paint a bad picture of Scarlett in his mind. That she was a loose women who went around to flirt with her boyfriend even though he was here with her Ryder would be really stupid if he could not see through this trick. "I don't want to have anything to do with you. Let's stop here. You doing this here...it's really disgusting!" Ryder said. No matter how thick skinned she was, Mira definitely could not stand the man that she was trying to flirt with telling her that she was disgusting. What the hell is the meaning of this? Just what is so good about that woman? She was suddenly on the defensive? "You think I'm disgusting? What about your girlfriend who is flirting with someone else even when she is here with you? Don't let her fool you. Someone like her, she can't be a good person at all!" Mira said. "Scarlett was flirting? You and I know what really happened. Don't you think that you are really cheap doing this?" He asked her. "Ryder" someone called from behind them.
