"You are going back? What happened? Didn't we already agree that you won't be going back? Or are you going for something? How long will you be gone?" Ethan asked. He thought that that must be it. She had something that she wanted to do in country C and she was going to come back after staying there for a few weeks. "No...I am going back to live there" Kaira said. She had already been away for so long. She did not want to continue to stay away. Ryder was already married. If she stayed any longer..she was definitely going to lose him for real. She had to go back now. She wasn't going to take any more chances. "What? Didn't we agree that you weren't going to go back? Why did you change your mind all of a sudden? I..." Ethan did not get to finish what he wanted to say before Kaira interrupted him. "No. We did not agree on anything. That is what you wanted. You were the one who didn't want me to go back. Anyway, I'm going to go back now. There's nothing that can stop me. I'm just informing you" Kaira said. Anyway, her mother was already gone. She won't stop her now. As long as she stood her ground and insisted, she was sure that her father won't be able to stop her. "You....have you really thought about this? You know that we promised your mom that we weren't going to go back. She has only been dead for a few years. If we really go back...." Once again, Kaira did not let her father finish. "What's wrong about wanting to go back? It's not like mom has anything against Country C. If it weren't for you constantly trying to get in touch with your ex wife, mom would not have made us leave" Kaira said. She still blamed her father for this. Anyway, it was because her mother was feeling insecure back then. She was afraid that if she continued to stay that she was going to lose her husband. She did not want that to happen and so she made a drastic decision. "You...I wasn't trying to get back with her! No matter what, we still have a daughter together. I just wanted to see my daughter!" Ethan said. He knew that he was a têrrible husband and a terrible Father. He disáppeeared for so many years. And when he finally came back, a lot of things had already gone wrong. He could not even get a chance to make it up to his wife and child. Back then even right now, he still thought that his wife and daughter were quite unreasonable. He just wanted to see them...did they have to insist that he leave? "So what if she is your daughter? Are you regretting choosing us?" Kaira said. She really hated the fact that her father had another daughter. It was a good thing that she never had the chance to find out just who this daughter is. So you must really despise my mother and I. Well, no matter how much you hate it, the truth is you already chose us then! You should know that you won't be able to reconcile with them since you already chose us! Do you think that my mom and I would have just let you leave?" Kaira asked. Even though her mom was dead, Kaira knew that her mother was a very possessive person when she was alive. She would never let this man leave her. That was why she made them move to country F. Ethan sighed, he knew that it was completely useless to argue with Kaira. She was just like her mother. Well, since she wants to go back to country C, he would go back with her. It wasn't such a bad thing anyway. His wife was no longer alive so there was no one that was going to stop him from meeting with his daughter. He just wanted to be reunited with his daughter again. To let her know that she still has a father who is alive in this world. "Alright then. Since you want to go back to country C so much, I'm going to think about it some more. But know that I won't be letting you go on your own. We'll go together if you want to go." Ethan said. He already made up his mind. It was time to make up for the numerous mistakes that he made back then. Kaira was supprised when her father said that he was going to go back with her if they wanted to go back. She did not really expect that he was going to do something like this. She thought that at most he won't be able to stop her from going and that he was just going to give into her in the end. Who knew that he did not have any intentions of stopping her but that he actually wanted to go with her? Kaira would not believe that he was doing this for her. She was sure that he had other plans for wanting to move back to country C with her. Hmph! Maybe he wants to reunite with his other family? Her mother is no longer alive and so he must think that he can do whatever he wants since there is no one to stop him now. "You want to go with me back to country C? Why? Are you going to go back to your family?" Kaira asked. Ethan really did not know what to say to Kaira and so he just decided to ignore her. Anyway, even if he wanted to go back to his wife, that woman...he was sure that she won't want to have anything to do with him. He just hoped that he would be able to see his daughter and make up for the things that he didn't do for her. Anyway, she was probably now an adult and be was sure that as long as she wanted to see him, her mother won't be able to say no. "We both have a goal for going back this time. I won't ask you why you want to go back all of a sudden and I won't tell you my reason either. Anyway, we don't have a conflict of interests" Ethan said. It was clear that he was really angry with Kaira now. He did not wait for her to say anything, he just walked away from the living room. Kaira was sure now. Her father was going back for that family of his! She really did not want to share her father and she also did not want to share the status of the daughter of a rich Billionaire. But she knew that there was nothing that she could do. If he really wanted to do that, she won't be able to stop him. Her mother is no longer here to stop him. After all, in the first year that her mother died, she had been really worried that he was going to do something like this. After a year passed and he didn't say anything about going back to country C she gradually started to forget about it. Who knew that she was going to trigger him and make him think about going back again? Anyway he was right. The both of them did not have a conflict of interests. As long as they completely stayed out of each other's way, then it was going to be fine. As for that so called sister of hers, she was just going to look for a way to deal with her. She would never let someone like that steal her place. Anyway, this time, she was going back to collect everything that was supposed to hers! Scarlett and Ryder were preparing to go to bed. Because of the argument that they had earlier, they were currently in a cold war without talking to each other. Scarlett came out of the bathroom, wearing a bathrobe. She glanced over at Ryder who was still sulking because of what she said. Scarlett could not resist the urge to raise up her lips in a smug smile! Ha! Who does he think he is? Does he think that he can say whatever he wants to her? He should have thought about the consequences before he went ahead to call her flat chested! Scarlett knew that the words that she said to him had dealt a huge blow to his pride as a man but she really couldn't care less. After all, he is the one who looked for it. He should have thought about it before calling her flat chested. Thinking about it was enough to make Scarlett even more angry than she was before. Anyway, he totally deserved it. He would definitely think again if he is ever going to call her such names in the future! Scarlett got into the bed and prepared to go to sleep. She could see that Ryder was going into the bathroom. Whatever. She is just going to ignore him from now on. She even felt that as long as they ignored each other like this for the next six months, thier lives together will at least be bearable. Scarlett was slowly drifting to sleep when she felt someone get into the bed. Her eyes snapped open at once. She saw that Ryder was lying beside her! Scarlett got up at once! What is he trying to do? Is this pervert trying to take advantage of her again? "You ...! What are you trying to do? Are you going to take advantage of me again?!" Scarlett yelled. She was obviously very unhappy about the fact that he was in the same bed with her. Ryder sat up when he heard Scarlett's voice. He was really regretting ever getting into her car in the first place! Ever since she came into his life, the peace of his life was shattered beyond repair! And what did she mean by taking advantage of her? He clearly just wanted to go to bed here! "Hey...what do you mean taking advantage of you? I kiss want to go to bed here. Can't you at least let me do that in peace?" Ryder asked. It was obvious that he www very tired. "And how am I stopping you from doing that? You can go to bed all you want I don't care! But, you aren't allowed to sleep on the same bed with me!" Scarlett said. She would never let this pervert sleep next to her. A few days ago he was feeling her up in her sleep. Today, he took advantage of her. Who knows what he is going to do next?
