Honeymoon (5) He did not want to get in trouble with anyone for this woman that he barely knew. Even that, he could not resist the urge to ask "Do you know this woman?" "Yes! He's my boyfriend! Didn't you want to pay me for me to accompany you for tonight? You should talk to him about it" Rose said gloating at Clinton. Even though she did not remember who this person was, she could see that he was trying to help her. She was even more smug now. This person won't be able to do anything to her. "Boyfriend?!" Clinton exclaimed. It seemed that be had been hitting on someone's woman and asking her to spend the night with him?! Why did he even think of doing something so stupid? What was he thinking? He should have just let this woman go when she stood up! Why did he get himself into this kind of trouble?! Matt's mouth twitched again when he heard Rose call him her boyfriend. When did he get such a girlfriend? He didn't dwell on that though. He was more concerned about the second part of her sentence. It seemed that this man was asking her to spend the night with him? What kind of uncultured person is this? Does he think that this place is a motel where he can do whatever he wants to women? "You want to pay her to spend the night with you? What? Does she look like an escort to you? Does this place look like a motel to you?" Matt asked. He was obviously angry at this man. He would be angry if it was someone that he didn't even know and he and Ross could be considered to know each other. How can he let someone take advantage of her like this? Clinton saw that the situation was no longer in his favour! Damn! If he knew that this woman had this kind of boyfriend he would not have asked to sleep with her for the night. What was he thinking? He really wanted to dig a hole and bury himself in it. "No...no that's not it. There seems to be a misunderstanding here. Yes, this is all all a misunderstanding...hahaha...I mistook her for someone else. This is all a mistake. Please be the bigger person and let me off" he said while laughing awkwardly. What the hell was he thinking. "A misunderstanding? You thought that she was someone else? Tell me who did you think that she was? An escort? Is that why you wanted her to accompany you?" Matt asked. He did not seem like he was going to let this person off easy. "I'm really sorry...I'm really sorry...it's all my bad...please...please let me off" he begged. Matt rasied his eyebrows and looked at Rose as if he was asking for her opinion. "Forget it honey. Let's just let him off. He isn't that much anyway" Rose said. She did not want to continue to deal with this anymore. She just wanted to go back home. As for this person, she would just take that she encountered something unlucky today. Besides, he was already apologizing so much. She did not want to continue to deal with him. "scram!" Matt said out loud. Clinton did not need to be told twice. He quickly picked up himself and walked away as fast as he could. He would be completely stupid if he continued to stay even though he had been let off. Rose laughed when she saw Clinton run away. She thought that he was really funny. He was putting on airs and acting so arrogant in front of him. But immediately he saw another man, he ran away as fast as he could. He was really spineless. People like him were the worst. They always liked bullying women but they couldn't even stand thier ground in front of other men. Matt turned to the woman that was laughing. For some reason, he thought that she was really pretty when she was laughing like this. "Why are you laughing? How do you know that person?" He asked her. Because he just helped her, Rose did not think that it was too much to answer his questions. "I don't know him. He walked up to me and demanded to talk to me. He's just looking for someone to hook up with it for the night. He was angry because I rejected him" Rose said. Matt was confused. He was this angry because a woman he didn't even know rejected him? Matt thought that there was something wrong. He saw the way that be was looking at Rose. It was as if she did something wrong to him and he wanted to get back at her at all means. "He was that angry just because you rejected him? What did you say to him?" Matt asked. He could see the woman was drunk. She didn't even recognize him. He was really curious about what she said to that man that could have made him do angry. "Oh...he said that he was going to give me a million for me to accompany for the night. I just told him that I'll give him ten million for him to get lost" Rose said. For the ninth time that night, Matt's mouth twitched. She said that she was going to give him ten million to get lost? Anyone would have been angry! Even though that person was basically asking for it, it was still enough to make anyone angry. It seemed that Rose was just like her artist Scarlett. The things that they did was enough to leave anyone speechless. "You said that you were going to give him ten million? Do you even have that much?" He asked her. Even though Scarlett was really popular now that they were earning a lot, he felt that she still wasn't rich enough to throw ten million away. "Of course not! Let me tell you, I was just bluffing!. Even if I had that money, I definitely won't give it to that spineless person! He isn't worth it at all! He is completely usëlëss. That's what I told him!" Rose said. She seemed like she was really proud of what she did. Matt really didn't know what he was supposed to say to her anymore. She even said that he wasn't worth the ten million and that he was useless? Why is he suddenly feeling bad for that guy? Can he call him back and apologize now? Rose did not notice that Matt seemed to be looking at her weirdly. She had had enough drama for one night. She just wanted to leave now. "Thank you for helping me. I'm going to leave now" Rose said. "You're leaving? Where are you going?" Matt asked. Rose thought that it was a really stupid question. Where was she going? Where else would she be going? Of course she was going home! "Where else would I be going? I'm going home" Rose said. She didn't want to stay in this place anymore. She just wanted to go back home. "Where do you think you are going? Didn't you say that I'm your boyfriend? How can you leave your boyfriend in the lurch like this?" He asked Rose. Matt did not really know what he was stopping her from leaving. He just felt terrible to let her leave like this. No matter how dense she was right now, Rose finally realized that there was something wrong with Matt's tone. "What? Ah that....I'm sorry for pretending to be your girlfriend. It was an emergency just now...you saw it yourself. If I didn't do that... He'll do something wrong to me.... I'm really sorry...I'll find a way to make it up to you some day" Rose said. Matt smiled. He didn't want to let her off even more now. "You are going to pay me back? Why don't you play me back right now?" Matt asked her. There was a scheming smile on his face. No matter how Rose looked at it she felt that this person was up to something. She was starting to get scared. It seemed that she just got out of one situation to get involved in another terrible situation? "Ah....how can I pay you back then?" She asked him. "Come with me" Matt said. He did not give her the opportunity to refuse. He pulled her along with him. * Kaira entered into her house. She had stayed out all night with her friends and it was the early hours of the morning now. She had done a lot of thinking and she had already made up her mind. She was going back to country C. She really wanted to see who the person who made Ryder Thompson get married to her was. This actress...she seemed like she had a lot of tricks up her sleeves. Even though Kaira knew that Ryder had been messing around with all kinds of women for the past five years that she left him, she knew that it was nothing serious and that she did not want to worry herself about it. But he got married...how could she stand and watch him get married? She thought that as long as she was ready to go back he was going to accept her no matter what...who knew that some woman was able to convince him to get married to her? She had to go back and get everything that was hers back. Kaira thought they her father must be sleeping now so she was just going to go back to her room. She switched on the lights because it was practically impossible to find her way in the darkness but she was met with a surprise instead. Her father was sitting on the couch. Clearly, he was waiting for her. "Dad...you haven't gone to bed yet?" Kaira asked. To others, she was the pampered daughter of her rich father but only he knew how strict he was with her. He was always monitoring her movements to the extent that she was already used to it now. "Why are you so late Kaira? It's already 2 am!" Ethan said. He really could not understand this daughter of his! It seemed that she was doing everything possible to go against him these days. "Dad...I was out hanging with my friends. It's not as if I'm going to get into some kind of trouble right? And it's not as if I did something wrong right?" Kaira asked. Sometimes, she really could not understand hee father. Why was he always so strict with her? She wasn't a child anymore. Back then if it wasn't for him insisting that they had to leave, she would not have...... "Are you still hanging out with those kids?" Ethan asked. He was clearly unhappy with that. "Please dad.. let's just drop it ok" Kaira said. She wasn't in the mood to argue with her father. She just wanted to go upstairs to sleep. Kaira was going upstairs when she thought of something. She had already decided that she was going to go back to country C. She felt that she should at least let him know now so they won't have to to talk about this topic again. "Oh right dad. I'll be going back to country C in a few days" Kaira said. She wasn't asking him. She was clearly informing him of her decision. Ethan was clearly suprised. He wasn't expecting this at all. Kaira is going back? Why is she suddenly going back? Didn't they agree that she won't be going back?
