Honeymoon (3) "You didn't tell your mother that this marriage isn't real real right? Why didn't you tell her? She thinks that her daughter got married but tsk...tsk...why?you didn't tell her because you didn't have any plans of getting a divorce from a beginning?" Ryder asked. He was mocking her. That was sure. Scarlett sneered. "immediately you saw my mother, you addressed her as mother. When did the both of you get so close? Is it because you don't have any intention of breaking up with me and you already got close to her?" Scarlett asked with a smile on her face. "...." Once again, Ryder was mercilessly defeated! Why does she feel like there's something wrong with Scarlett? As long as she doesn't want to do something, there is no one who can force her. How did she change so much in just a few days? She clearly hates Ryder and doesn't even want to be in the same place with him, so why is she going on some honeymoon trip with him? Scarlett sighed. She did not want to go too but she really did not have a choice. "Just forget it. I'll just take it as me going on a vacation. Anyway, I'll need someone who'll carry my bags for me when I shop" Scarlett said. Rose's mouth twitched. Why did she think that Scarlett had changed just now? She clearly hasn't changed at all! She still knows how to make use of the situation to her favour! She almost wanted to cry for Ryder. Does he know that he is going to be reduced to an escort who was only going along to carry bags? "Alright then" Rose said. What else could she say to someone like Scarlett? "I haven't had the chance to take a break for a long time now. I'll just take this one month to rest. I'll be in better shape when I come. The PR department will take care of this Right?" Scarlett asked Rose. She didn't want to make any mistakes. She still wanted her fame and popularity when she came back. Rose nodded her head. "Yes of course. We already released a news that you are going on your honeymoon. You should just enjoy yourself from now on for the next one month. Anyway, where are going?" Rose asked her. "A country" Scarlett replied. "A country? It's quite close.. " Rose said. "I can't be bothered to pick. I just want to relax and shop" Scarlett said. "...." Rose already lit a candle in her heart for whoever was going to marry Scarlett. You seem to be taking this marriage seriously" Matt said. He knew that Peter was the one who made the both of them go but he really could not give up on opportunity to tease Ryder and make fun of him. "What honeymoon?! I don't even have a choice here!" Ryder said. He was really angry. Scarlett had picked some random place. Because he wanted to upset her, he did not agree with her. But instead she said that since he wants to win her heart then he should do everything that she says from now on! He kept feeling like he had dug himself into a trap. She was even using his words to take advantage of him. When has he, Ryder ever been taken advantage of by someone else? It just did not make sense at all! Matt nodded his head. He was really enjoying this show. It was such a pity that he couldn't go with him. He suddenly thought of something. "So ...did Scarlett say anything to you?" Matt asked him. He knew that after he dropped hints that Scarlett might like him, Ryder was definitely going to talk to her. He was just like that, doing things in his own way. He really wanted to know what happened after that. Ryder thought about the words that Scarlett said last night and how he dug himself into a trap that she kept using against him. He clenched his fists tightly together. "I'll definitely make her admit her feelings for me" Ryder said with determination! He would make her fall in love with him and then he was going to put her in her place. He had never been mocked so much by anyone else in his life! How can he take something lying down? He really wanted to get revenge on her and be was going to do just that! Matt clicked his tongue. It seemed that the situation was much more intense than he thought, anyway he was just here to watch the fun. "Why? She didn't admit that she likes you?" Matt asked like the "caring" friend that he was. "No.. she said that she will never like someone like me. What does she mean by that? I can definitely tell that she's lying! I will definitely make her admit it!" Ryder said. No matter what, she has hurt his pride a lot yesterday night. He had to do all that he could to fwd his pride back! He had to make that Scarlett see that she was wrong. Matt glaced over at Scarlett who was talking with Rose. He clicked his tongue again. No matter how he looked at it, these people definitely weren't a match for each other. They were both headstrong. A pairing like this...he did not even want to think about the consequences. Anyway, as long as they went thier separate ways in six months whatever happened in between wasn't important at all right? "Alright then. You should leave" Matt said. They were already calling the number of thier flight so they left. ******* After flying for five hours...the plane landed. Scarlett and Ryder had taken much pain to disguise themselves so they weren't too worried about being noticed. Right now, all that Scarlett wanted to do was take a bath and rest. Because this was an unplanned trip, she didn't actually have any idea what she wanted to do. Once she rested, she was going to think about where she wanted to go. They hired a cab and left for the nearest five star hotel. No matter what, Scarlett was still a celebrity. She needed a choose a hotel with good security. It could be quite a hassle if she was recognized and the hotel couldn't hold back fans and reporters. They arrived at the hotel and went to check in. When they were asked how many rooms they wanted ,Ryder glaced at Scarlett who wasn't paying attention looking at God knows what. He ignored her and was going to say "two rooms" when Scarlett's hand pressed on his. "We'll take one suite" Scarlett said flashing a smile at the receptionist. Ryder was stunned. Even though he said that he was going to make Scarlett fall for him, he did not think that he was actually going to be this quick. Besides, He had not even done anything yet! Was it seriously this quick? What is going on? Is she this eager to share a room with him? He could not resist the urge to make fun of her. "What? Are you this eager to share a room with me? Then why did you make a show is chasing me out that night?" He asked her. Scarlett glared at Ryder. There was clear irritation in her eyes. She really did not want to spend a room with this person, but just now, she had seen a papparzi taking pictures of her! Obviously, he had followed them here. It seemed that she over estimated the disguise. They were papparazis who still knew who she was and who still followez her here. If they find out that she actually slept in a different room, it won't be good at all. They would definitely figure out that there was something wrong with her Marriage. She did not want that to happen, so even though she was feeling very angry right now she could only put her arms around Ryder and say, "Hubby, we are here for our honeymoon. Let's get the suite okay?" She asked in a whining voice. She knew that the receptionist has not recognized them yet so as long as she was given a bit of money, she would probably sell information to the papparzi. She did not want anyone to find out something was wrong. Ryder was shocked. He could not understand why this woman was acting like this all of a sudden. Even putting her arms around his and calling out to him in such a high pitched voice....he really wanted to puke! And what did she say? Hu...hubby? He felt like he was going to vomit blood if she kept this up! "You...." Ryder wanted to say something but Scarlett stepped on his leg and gave him a look that said, "cooperate with me" Ryder saw her expression and immediately saw that something was wrong. Even though he did not know what that was....he felt like be was still compelled to do whatever she asks. "Come on...it was a really long flight. I want to rest" Scarlett said in the same coy voice. Anyway, she was an actress so it was easy for her to change characters in a heart beat. A smile flashed across Ryder's face. Even though he did not know what was going on, he felt that he should take proper advantage of this situation. He instantly grabbed her waist and pulled her close to him. Scarlett froze for a few seconds. What is this person doing right now? She looked up at Ryder and saw a rueful smile on his face. He whispered to her, "Didn't you want to put on a show? Come on....I'll help you do it" Scarlett suddenly had an urge to laugh. He is taking advantage of her right now? She looked at the arm wrapped around her waist. She suddenly had an urge to break it! But she could not do that. She could only let him do whatever he wished for now. He kept hugging her waist as they paid for the room and even as they took the elevators to this room.
