Chapter 75: The Family Heads Kneel
"What's going on? My money!"
Medrigez's voice was filled with desperation. He wanted to act, but his legs had gone weak, and his face was pale.
Joseph looked at the panicked group with cold detachment. "This is the price you pay for underestimating me."
His voice was calm yet authoritative.
"Joseph, how can you do this? We are supposed to be partners!" the head of the Hanke family shouted in fury.
Joseph chuckled. "Partners? Have you ever treated me as a partner? To you, I was just someone you could bully."
Medrigez trembled. "Please... save our stocks. We are willing to pay any price."
Joseph shook his head. "It's too late. You've lost your chance. However, if you agree to my terms, I might reconsider."
The three family heads exchanged desperate glances, realizing they had no other choice. Reluctantly, they nodded, indicating their willingness to follow Joseph's demands.
"Please tell us what you want. We'll do anything you say," they pleaded.
Joseph remained calm, setting aside his belongings. "Do you think I owe you an explanation just because you want one? I'll tell you when I feel like it."
"No! Please!" Medrigez and the others were in despair as they watched Joseph head for the door. They tried to follow, but without money, they could barely stand. Crawling on the floor, they reached out towards Joseph.
"Please, give us a chance!"
Joseph looked at them coldly. "I'll see how I feel."
Everyone in the business center was stunned. They had expected a significant meeting between Joseph and the three families but never imagined that Joseph would be treated with such desperation by them.
"Who is this guy?" someone muttered.
"I've never seen the heads of the three families kneel to anyone before!"
"Joseph must be quite something!"
"We should definitely try to stay on his good side from now on!"
Joseph left the meeting room, a satisfied smile on his face. Hecarim, standing nearby, was equally amazed. Yesterday, he had been a nobody, a failure. But now, by aligning with Joseph, he had witnessed a world he never knew existed.
"Brother Joseph, I want to learn from you! Only by becoming like you, with your abilities, can one solve any problem!"
Joseph nodded approvingly. "That's the right attitude."
Hecarim's resolve grew stronger. This victory had given him a taste of revenge and solidified his determination.
As they walked out, more people gathered, curious about the commotion.
"Who are these people?"
"No idea, but it looks like they're in charge of the business center now."
"Isn't it the three families?"
"Have you seen their stocks? They were so strong before."
"Their stocks were making money, but now they've plummeted. What happened?"
"They must have crossed someone powerful."
"My God, I just saw the stocks of the three families hit the limit down!"
People in the business center whispered among themselves, intrigued by Joseph's identity and power. His name quickly spread among the employees of the Florida Business Center.
The three family heads were on the brink of collapse. Medrigez slumped to the ground, and Hanke pointed at him, yelling, "It's all your fault! If it weren't for you, we wouldn't be in this mess!"
Medrigez had no response. He didn't understand how things had gone so wrong. Hanke, frustrated by the lack of answers, stormed off.
"From now on, our family will have nothing to do with yours!"
"How could you be so stupid? Refusing Joseph was your most foolish decision!"
As Hanke prepared to leave, he realized that the problem was not just personal but affected all three families. They depended on their companies and stocks for their livelihood. Without these assets, they would be ruined.
Tom Cruise approached, helping Medrigez to his feet. "Let's figure out a way to handle this."
After some discussion, they decided to seek Joseph's forgiveness to minimize their losses. Hanke joined them.
"You can't negotiate with Joseph without me. We need to go together!"
However, when they reached Joseph's office, they learned he had already left the business center.
Medrigez and Tom Cruise were in despair, unsure of their next steps. Hanke rolled his eyes.
"Are you both idiots? Don't you know anyone else in Florida?"
"As long as we have one lead, we can find Joseph's address and make amends."
Just as Hanke finished speaking, his phone rang. It was a family member.
"Hello?" he answered.
"Hanke, are you crazy? What happened to our family? Why did we suddenly go bankrupt?" his elder shouted.
