Chapter 168: Storming the Hospital
The person Michelle had taken was just someone Remiel had randomly grabbed. She had no idea.
Meanwhile, inside the Hell Organization, everyone watched as the members of the Heaven Organization retreated, gathering up their leaders. The scene was almost amusing to witness.
Beelzebub glanced at the others.
“I think we should let these people know that this was all orchestrated by Remiel. If we can get them to start turning on each other, what do you think of my suggestion?”
Belial nodded slightly.
“It’s definitely something that needs to be exposed, but not yet.”
Remiel had been playing his part so well that he had even started to believe his own act. If they exposed him too suddenly, it might not solve anything.
Belial explained his reasoning to the others.
“We have video footage of Remiel exchanging Samael and secretly making deals with the Heaven Organization. But we can’t release this video just yet because I’m afraid it might put Samael in danger.”
“I plan to release it once Samael has recovered a bit.”
However, this would mean that Michelle and her group would have to take the blame for now.
But that was okay because their original plan was to pit Michelle against the Heaven Organization.
Now, they were nearly there.
The more chaotic things got, the more opportunities it would create for them.
Thinking about Michelle, Beelzebub considered.
“I think Michelle is actually pretty good. After all, she didn’t attack Mr. Joseph, did she?”
To her surprise, everyone waved their hands dismissively.
“What are you thinking? She may not have attacked Mr. Joseph, but Michelle is definitely not a good person! This is an international battleground! The only reason she didn’t attack Mr. Joseph was that she wanted to take Samael away!”
“Otherwise, do you really think she’s a good person?”
After hearing their words, Beelzebub realized how naive she had been.
“I’m sorry… I didn’t realize…”
She quickly lowered her head, not daring to say anything else.
Belial, seeing that Beelzebub was still an innocent girl untainted by the harsh realities of the world, decided not to dwell on it.
He simply nodded slightly.
“Forget it. Let’s keep observing how things develop.”
With that, Belial stood up, and the group began discussing how things might unfold next.
Meanwhile, Laxsta was hurrying to return to the country with Joseph.
She looked at the nearly unconscious Joseph, filled with anxiety.
“Please don’t die! I’m taking you to Dr. Mundo right now! Hold on just a little longer!”
Joseph looked at Laxsta in front of him.
He felt like he couldn’t hold on much longer, but seeing how concerned Laxsta was, he felt a pang of guilt.
He knew he had always been headstrong.
But in reality, he could feel when others were helping him.
He was always deeply grateful, but in a place like this, showing gratitude was akin to not caring for oneself.
He couldn’t even bring himself to tell Laxsta why he had always resisted getting involved with women abroad.
Because even if he did, it wouldn’t change anything.
If someone truly liked him, they wouldn’t care about these things.
It’s not that he didn’t know what it meant to like someone, or what love was.
But he had always restrained himself.
He couldn’t betray Lucy, couldn’t betray others, and most importantly, couldn’t betray himself.
“Laxsta, what are you doing? Stop!”
He saw that Laxsta was about to inject him with something, and he panicked.
This kind of injection might restore someone’s physical condition quickly, but it also put a tremendous strain on the body!
He didn’t want to continue torturing himself this way.
Laxsta, hearing his words, quickly put down the syringe and turned away.
“I know you mean well, but I can’t just stand by and watch you lie here doing nothing! I’m scared, but when I think about you being in danger, I forget everything else! Hold on! We’re almost there!”
With that, she turned and rushed back to the driver’s seat, speeding up even more.
Hearing this, Joseph didn’t say anything more.
Since he had already decided to go with Laxsta, there was no other choice.
He closed his eyes to rest, knowing that with Laxsta’s driving, there shouldn’t be any accidents.
Sure enough, twenty minutes later,
She had driven to a hidden private hospital.
There, Laxsta made several calls to Dr. Mundo, but no one answered!
“What should I do?!”
Seeing how serious Joseph’s injuries were, Laxsta was so anxious she didn’t know what to say!
Suddenly, she remembered.
Since Dr. Mundo was there to help Lucy’s parents, he must be with Lucy, right?
So she took Joseph directly to the hospital where Lucy’s parents were.
The hospital lobby was bustling with people.
As soon as Laxsta entered, she shouted,
“Get your best doctor here right now and save my man, or I’ll kill you all!”
Everyone around her dismissed her words, thinking she was crazy.
But in the next second, Laxsta fired several shots into the air!
She was using death to threaten these people.
She was genuinely desperate!
After all, Laxsta was just an assassin. The only thing she knew how to do was use violence to force people to fulfill her demands!
“The best doctor in our hospital is Dr. Catheron. He’s on the third floor…”
Laxsta immediately carried Joseph up to the third floor.
At that moment, on the third floor, Dr. Catheron was pressuring one of his interns.
“Your resume looks good, but you need to understand that if you want to make it in this hospital, you’ve got a lot to learn!”
The intern quickly replied,
“Dr. Catheron, I’ll work hard no matter what!”
Dr. Catheron smiled slightly.
“Haven’t you figured it out yet? I said you need to work hard~”
He pointed to his lower body.
This was clearly sexual harassment!
The intern was completely stunned!
“Dr. Catheron, I... I don’t want to…”
“Don’t worry, come here. Do you think I’d treat you badly?”
At that moment, the intern was utterly horrified.
She pushed Dr. Catheron away, but it was futile!
