Chapter 132: Infiltrating the Arsenal
The Kerry family had many assassins, not at home but stationed at the factory.
For Joseph, killing them wasn't difficult.
But making them feel threatened and desperate step by step, that's what he wanted.
At this stage, eliminating their first line of defense—the assassins—would leave the Kerry family defenseless. Then, he could kill whomever he wanted.
If he wished, they would find it hard not to die.
Joseph’s expression turned darker as he glanced at the guards outside the factory. The fully armed guards didn’t look like assassins but more like a special forces unit from some country.
He smirked and stepped forward.
His figure soon disappeared into the darkness.
Joseph was agile and quickly avoided the guards’ line of sight.
Joseph moved swiftly, his speed remarkable.
In just twenty seconds, Joseph appeared in the factory’s backyard, jumping down from the wall with agility.
Outside the factory stood two rows of soldiers, each holding a gun.
Joseph saw the dense barrage of gunfire, sneered, and swiftly dodged the bullets.
"Bang... bang bang bang..."
"Rat-a-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat..."
Gunfire erupted, tongues of flame spewing forth.
"Boom! Boom! Boom..."
"Thud..."
A soldier fell to the ground.
Joseph glanced at his clothes, which had been grazed by bullets.
He looked down; there were no wounds on his body.
The bullets were too slow for Joseph.
His eyes glinted, and he turned to dash into a nearby building. Soon after entering, two more soldiers arrived.
"Bang! Bang! Bang..."
Bullets tore through the wooden door, striking the ground and kicking up dust.
"Rat-a-tat-tat..."
"Bang!"
"Bang!"
"Click!"
The gunfire continued, but the bullets had dwindled.
Joseph glanced at his left shoulder, unharmed, and clenched his right hand into a fist.
"Whoever you are! We've installed a tracker on you. You can't escape!"
A cold male voice rang out.
Joseph chuckled dismissively and replied.
"Oh, really? You think two guns can kill me?"
"Of course, they can."
"In that case, let's see."
"Bang! Bang! Bang..."
Joseph's silhouette darted through the air.
"Damn, how is he so powerful?!"
"This can't go on; we have to capture Joseph!"
Joseph moved quickly, spotting a room ahead.
The door was locked, and he knocked forcefully a few times, breaking the door apart.
"Bang!"
"No matter who you are! You should surrender now!"
Joseph coldly watched them.
“What, do you think you’re on the upper hand? You’ve chased me all the way to Florida and Texas, and now you’re scared when I’m here at your base?”
Joseph then donned his signature item:
A golden mask.
Instantly, everyone around him was shocked!
That face with the golden mask was simply awe-inspiring!
Who is this guy? How is he so powerful?
“Could it be Joseph? I only know of Joseph from the Reaper organization who uses a golden mask!”
“Damn! How can he be Joseph?”
“How could he show up here?”
“How could he possibly be Joseph?!”
Everyone was astounded, unable to comprehend why someone as formidable as Joseph was here.
Their minds were blank, filled with confusion.
Joseph observed their reactions and calmly said.
“It seems you’re not as impressive as I thought.”
Hearing Joseph’s disdain, a soldier from the Kerry family charged at him.
“You lunatic!”
“I’ll kill you!”
Their fury was igniting.
But their rage was useless against Joseph.
Joseph was amused by their actions.
“You think you can kill me?”
“Don’t forget, I’m not just an assassin!”
“You ordinary people can’t kill me.”
His tone was full of arrogance and contempt.
“I advise you not to waste time and surrender!”
He glanced at the people around him.
The soldiers’ eyes were filled with anger.
How could they believe such words?!
They were elite assassins!
But even such assassins couldn’t defeat this man.
How could they tolerate this?!
For a moment, they dared not make a move.
Because, as Joseph said, they couldn’t kill him.
Realizing this, they exchanged glances.
It seemed too dangerous for them now.
“Haha...”
Joseph chuckled disdainfully.
He could see they were afraid of him.
“What, want to continue?”
“I’m telling you, you trash mean nothing to me!”
“I can kill you with ease!”
Joseph looked at the soldiers with contempt.
“You think this can stop me? What a joke!”
“Bang!”
“Bang!”
“Bang!”
As Joseph finished speaking, gunshots echoed again.
Joseph frowned, easily evading their attacks.
“Why don’t you listen to me?”
“Whoosh...”
“Clap...”
“Bang bang...”
Joseph dodged the bullets, running toward the interior rooms.
His speed was so fast that he quickly entered a building.
He slipped into a hidden room.
No sooner had he entered than the door was kicked open.
Joseph smirked, raising his head to see a dozen soldiers in camouflage standing there.
“You’re Joseph?”
Joseph looked at them and replied calmly.
“Yes, that’s me.”
“Haha, Mr. Joseph indeed lives up to his name.”
Joseph’s eyes showed a hint of curiosity.
“Oh? You know me?”
“Of course, you’re the youngest leader in the Reaper organization.”
Joseph raised an eyebrow slightly.
“So that’s it.”
As soon as he spoke, he heard someone shouting from outside.
