Chapter 264
LIAM’S POV
The first thing I felt was warmth on my face, then I felt fingers pressing against my arm, shaking me.
“Liam. Liam, wake up, please.” Chloe’s voice cracked.
Her voice was filled with concern. It dragged me back from the dark fog I had sunk into. My wolf stirred inside me, restless, pushing me to rise.
I opened my eyes slowly, blinking against the small light coming. Chloe’s face hovered above me, her face pale and strained. Her hair stuck to her cheeks from sweat. Her hands were still on me, trembling.
I pushed myself up and froze.
The wound. The one that tore through my stomach, the one Natalie gave me with her own hand. It was gone. Not just closed….gone. My skin was whole.
I touched the spot. I looked at it in disbelief. “What… the hell?”
Everyone gasped as they looked at me. Alistair, Zane, Nate, the others, they are all stared. Some stared in relief. Some stared in suspicion.
Chloe’s eyes widened. “Your wound… it’s completely healed. That’s impossible.”
