#Chapter 98 Another Tear

I sit in the foyer of Logan's house waiting for him to come home. I waited for hours, watching the Sun fall beyond the horizon, darkness overtaking the landscape. All of the life outside has gone to sleep, but I remain awake, unable to bring myself to leave this section of the house.
Guilt overtakes my body. I know that it is wrong with me to keep logan out of my plan, to keep him in the dark, but there's so much that he does not know. There's so much weight and baggage to my past that I don't want him to feel the need to hold onto. He deserves to live a life away from constant pain and agony.
I stare at my phone. I wait for him to call or text but nothing comes in. It feels like agony waiting for Logan to come back home. My heart simply cannot take it when he is gone for a long period of time.
Just as I'm about to give up, standing from the bottom step of the staircase, my phone vibrates against the wooden floor. I immediately snatch it into my hands, staring at the phon
