Claire's POV "Change of plans," Joey said, frowning at her phone as we drove down the dark highway. "The Moonlight Revel was moved to an old factory about thirty minutes further out." "What? Why would they move it?" I asked, a knot forming in my stomach. We were already headed into rural territory, and the idea of going even further from the city made me uneasy. Joey shrugged, but I noticed her knuckles whitening as she gripped the steering wheel. "Last-minute security concerns, apparently. Happens sometimes when too many humans start wandering close to the original location." I peered out the window at the increasingly sparse landscape. Streetlights had become few and far between, and thick forest pressed in from both sides of the narrow road. "Something feels wrong about this," Stella whispered in my mind.
