Chapter 28: Abducted by Wolves
I was shivering as I woke up.
I felt so cold and so wet. My head hurt.
I struggled to open my eyes.
However, what I saw through my narrow vision made my body tremble even more.
It wasn't the green roof of the tent, nor was it the starry night sky. Instead, it was the grayish-black roof of a cave that was dripping water.
How did I get here?
I wanted to stay awake as fear struck me. I really wanted to figure out what was going on, but the weakness in my body made it impossible.
I could barely keep my eyes open.
I couldn't help but close my eyes. I really wanted to sleep.
Rustle...
Rustle...
It sounded like a ferocious beast walking on sand.
My hair stood on end from the wetness, coldness and fear. I could clearly sense danger approaching me, but I was too weak to resist. I could not even open my eyes right now.
A drop of water landed on the tip of my nose. It was close to freezing temperature, which helped push away my lethargy. I struggled to open my eyes again.
I finally saw what was approaching me.
Shit! It was wolves! A pack of wolves with messy fur!
They were all very thin. I could even see their bones through their skins. It must be caused by malnutrition. Although they were all in wolf form at the moment, if they transformed into humans, I felt that they would be a group of street gangsters.
Confusion and fear filled me. What was going on? And who the hell were they?
I clearly remembered returning to my tent after Locas let go of me. I remembered that I failed to calm down for a long time. And at that time, my breasts were still hot because of Locas's touch.
Then what?
What happened?
Then I seemed to get kind of sleepy. Almost instantly, I fell into a deep sleep. Oh no, in fact, I became unconscious. I also smelled a strange fragrance.
Oh, right, the fragrance!
I seemed to have smelled that kind of fragrance before. It wasn't perfume, nor was it from food. It was more like the smell of some kind of drug.
Well, yeah, it was the smell of a kind of drug. It was a knockout drug I had read about in medical books. One could not smell anything until he was unconscious. They could only smell that fragrance when they was unconscious.
I was drugged!
That realization made me feel even more scared. I was drugged by a group of people I didn't know, and I was in their nest. I didn't know what they wanted. I didn't know where the others were or how to protect myself.
Why did they drug me? What would they do to me?
I was overwhelmed by fear. I couldn't stop trembling. I heard them begin to talk about something. What was it?
This made me even more anxious. I accidentally touched a rock beside me. This sound alarmed the pack of wolves in front of me.
They all turned their heads and gave me spooky looks. Their eyes glowed with a ghostly green light, as if they wanted to eat me. I even saw a skinny wolf lick his dry yellowed fangs.
Were they too hungry?
I suddenly pitied them a little. At the same time, in order to protect myself, I stretched out my hand and made a huge circle. Then, I pointed at my mouth, which meant that as long as you guys didn't eat me, I would give you a lot of food.
I stared at them because I did not want to miss their response.
But they laughed mockingly. Their curled lips seemed to say, Hey, don't be naive. How can we do such a thing? Because we're hungry?
So what did they want?
A lean wolf walked up to me. He was the biggest of the pack, probably their leader. He put his nose to my neck and sniffed something.
I thought he was going to eat me and I did not know why I thought so. I clasped my hands together and begged him to let me go.
But he ignored me. He kept his nose down, sniffing my collarbone until it stopped between my breasts.
I squirmed uncomfortably, but he held me down. He used his claw to tear my shirt, and then some of my shirt buttons fell to the floor.
My shirt hung half off my arm. I felt very ashamed. Why did he tear up my clothes?
I suddenly thought of my foster father and the customer who had molested me. I had a bad feeling at that moment, which sent terror through my veins.
I hurriedly pulled my shirt back together. I didn't want so many wolves to see my body!
That didn't help. The lean wolf pulled my shirt down again and motioned for some other lean wolves behind him to press my hands and feet to the cold and wet ground.
I began to struggle violently. I flailed my feet, but because I had just been drugged I was too weak to break free.
No! I didn't want this! I didn't want him to do that to me.
I wanted to resist again, but I felt that something had fallen off my neck.
The lean wolf took my moon goddess necklace.
Hell no! That was the only thing my biological mother left me.
I didn't know why I suddenly felt a surge of strength and became very strong. I actually broke free from the restraints of four thin wolves at once. I didn't think even a man with ten times my strength could do that.
I didn't have time to be shocked by what just happened. I immediately pounced on the wolf who had taken my necklace, but I felt like I was being dragged by something.
I turned around and saw four wolves biting my clothes. Of course, I failed and was smashed to the ground. I felt like my internal organs had shifted and were about to be dislocated.
Bang. I fell to the ground. I was trampled over by a lean wolf. He was looking at his leader. He seemed to be asking for his leader's permission.
The leader waved his front claws at him.
This wolf seemed to have received a precious gift. He howled at the leader, then impatiently released me and pressed me under him.
My shirt was completely torn off. The cold made me shiver, but what happened next made me shiver even more.
My body hurt.
My head hurt, too.
I had just used up my strength to attack them just now. I no longer had the strength to resist.
I was desperate. The friction of the fur on my body disgusted me. It was wet and sticky. I almost vomited.
What should I do now?
Didn't anyone notice that I was missing?
Would I really be tortured to death like this?
Suddenly, there was a commotion among the wolves. A few thin wolves guarding outside of the cave were sent flying in.
I looked up and saw only a trace of blue magic. Then a silver wolf charged in.
It was Krell! He came here to save me!
"Krell, save me! Krell!" I shouted like a drowning person clinging to a lifebuoy.
Krell was clearly attracted by my shouting. He looked at me with shock. And then he frantically beat the lean wolf on me to the ground with blue flames.
The thin wolves came back to their senses from Krell's sudden attack. They approached Krell and instantly surrounded him. There seemed to be a hundred huge wolves.
Krell crashed into the surrounding thin wolves. Then five or six of them were knocked to the ground. They covered their stomachs and wailed on the ground.
There was a blue light in Krell's eyes. He was like a bloodthirsty beast. He was invincible. All the thin wolves that approached him were knocked down and could not get up.
However, gradually, Krell's movements became slower and slower. It was obvious that he had expended a lot of physical strength. There were still half of the wolves left around him.
Krell roared and charged at a few more thin wolves. Although he successfully knocked them down, his back was bitten, and blood stained his shiny fur.
My heart beat really fast and my face was tense with worry.
Krell was still fighting but the wound on his back made him move even slower. He had to lick his wound every time he knocked down a thin wolf.
One down, two down...
The skinny wolves fell one by one, and Krell got two more wounds on his body. One was on his hind legs, and the other was on his chest. Blood gushed out like water. He seemed to have been soaked in blood.
Krell could not walk steadily. There was only the leader of the wolves.
"Krell, are you OK?" I asked worriedly.
Krell smiled at me and then charged toward the leader.
Blood splattered everywhere!
The blood even splattered on my face. Krell had been bitten on the neck, and the blood kept spurting from his neck.
Bang! This was the first time this imposing man actually fell down.
"Krell!" I cried out as I struggled to rush to Krell.
Krell roared and I knew it was meant to stop me again. I saw wisps of blue light emanate from his body before converging into a huge blue fireball. Then it flew toward the last thin wolf.
With a bang, the wolf instantly turned into ashes.
"Krell!" I looked at Krell with some joy. We were finally safe.
However, Krell closed his eyes. He seemed to have stopped breathing.
