He had to admit it. The real reasons he did not want her to just leave was because of his pride. He didn't even get a proper rejection, like he was great but the both of them are not compatible . She didn't even bother to say such fake words to him. She just told him that he wasn't sincere out right. How can his pride let him let go of something like that? He did not want to at all! "I..." Her words made him doubt himself. Was he even serious about her at all? He suddenly did not know at all. "I'm going to leave now. Even though she was already a middle aged woman and she already had an adult daughter,she still acted like a kid in front of her older brother. "You don't have to blame yourself for those things Vanessa. It's not your fault! It's all Ethan's fault! If you gave up even your family for him then he should cherish you! Ethan should just wait! "Daniel....." Vanessa was almost choking on her tears now. "There's no need for you to cry Vanessa. No matter what,you should always remember that you have a family! I will always be here for you! That man can't just bully you and get away with it! I'll be sure to get back at him for you!" Daniel said. "No Daniel...you don't have to do anything to him because of me I..." Vanessa did not get to finish before Daniel spoke up again. "What? Are you standing on his side now? Vivian asked, steering the conversation to Scarlett She knew that Vanessa was having a hard time bringing it up. Vanessa nodded her head. "I really don't know what he's thinking. What does he want from me? Didn't he already put an end to our relationship five years ago? He came to me and demanded that I should let him see Scarlett!" Vanessa said. She was very angry when she brought this up. She thought that that man had to be completely crazy for him to even come up with such ideas. Seriously, what does he take her for? "You don't have to worry about anything Vanessa. No matter what Scarlett is still my niece. I have to protect her from that man. As long as she doesn't want to have anything to do with him, he won't be able to force her!" Daniel said. In the end, he still realized that Scarlett was no longer a child.
