Mira was specheless once again. She wanted to yell out.She thought that he was really considering it. It turns out that he just wanted to make fun of her! It's all that woman's Scarlett's fault! This was what Mira did best. Pushing the blame to other people "Ryder.... I'm really....I don't want to be a mistress...it's not because I want to do it...it's because I want to be with you...I don't cere whatever bad things I have to do or whatever sacrifices that I want to make....I just want to be with you....can't you give me a chance?" Mira asked. No matter what, no man would be able to resist a woman who wants to make such sacrifices for him right? She was sure that Ryder would be able to see how sincere she was now. But Mira was disappointed. "No Mira. You and I had a relationship in the past but just as I said, it's already in the past! I'm already married and I love my wife. I'm not going to do anything that will let her down. I absolutely won't betray her either. I don't know why you decided to come back all of a sudden, but just as I've told you before, I hope that you won't do anything that will lead people to misunderstand. Have some self respect" Ryder said. He really didn't want to continue this conversation. This woman was so annoying. What does she think that she is doing? It was so annoying! Mira was still trying to hold back her tears and think of something to say when Ryder got up. "Goodbye Mira" Ryder said. He started to leave. Matt stayed behind to settle the bills. Mira panicked. She didn't know when she would be able to see him again. It was a concidence that she ran into him here. Seeing his attitude now, Mira was sure that Ryder was going to try to avoid her from now on. If she doesn't convince him today,she didn't know when she would see him again. No...she can't afford to take the gamble. Mira made up her mind and went after him. Ryder was about to get in his car when someone held on to the door, preventing him from going on. He turned to see a red eyed Mira. Ryder was starting to get frustrated. He was where that he already made himself as clear as day in there. He did not want to have anything to do with Mira anymore. Can't she just get it and stop pestering him like this? "What do you want Mira? I thought I already made myself clear. I don't want to have anything to do with you anymore!" Ryder said. He was starting to get really angry now. Mira could see that he was angry but she also knew that she could not give up now. She would be the one on the losing end. And she did not want to lose at at all. So she decided to just bite the bullet "Ryder....I really do love you....do we really have to do this? Let's just get together again please? I really don't care about anything else. I really just want to be with you now!" Mira said. She was desperate now. Mira was actually quite stupid. She should have seen that Ryder was already completely over her now, but she just did now want to accept the fact that she lost. "Mira,and I already told you that I'm married and I love my wife. Seriously, don't you have any form of self love? Do you really have to do something like this here? Have some self respect!" Ryder said. How did he even end up dating this kind of woman before? Why didn't he notice that Mira was like this to begin with? "I don't care! I don't care about those things! I don't want to have self respect! I only want you. I came back this time because of you Ryder. You can't pretend that you don't know it. How is that woman better than me?" "There's no comparison. You can never match up to her" Ryder said. He was letting Mira know that no matter what she thought or said, he would never have anything to do with her anymore. Seriously, how did she even get the courage to come here to talk to him about these things? It was fine if she didn't want to have any self respect. She could not come to bother him because of her lack of self respect! Mira did not even try to hold back her tears this time. She broke down and started to cry. Seriously, she thought that she had a chance. She told herself that even if Ryder is married, there is no way that he doesn't have feelings for her. How come it's like this? Mira was feeling really wronged! "I can't compare to her? Why can't I compare to her? How is she any better than me? The both of us were in love! She was the one who came in between us!" Mira said righteously. Anyway, she had never thought that she was doing anything wrong. She isn't the one in the wrong here. It's that woman Scarlett. At this point, Ryder could not be bothered to continue to say anything to her. It was clear that she wasn't going to listen anyway. "Let go" he said in a cold voice. He was referring to his car door that she was holding on to. Ryder thought that if Mira had any pride left, she was going to let go now. But he had underestimated her shamelessness. "No, I'm not going to let go! I don't want to let go of you!" Mira said. Ryder rolled his eyes. He can't be blamed for this then. He grabbed Mira's hand and forced her to let go. Then without waiting for her to do anything else he got into his car and drove away as fast as he could. He really did not want to interact with this woman for much longer.
