Making Up? Kaira felt that she had not done anything wrong. She had always felt entitled to whatever she wanted. She did not care even if she hurt someone else "You....!" For the first time, Ethan had the urge to slap this daughter of his across his face. How dare she bring up her mother? In this life, the person that he hated the most will forever be that evil woman Brenda! She is the one that ruined him and his relationship with Vanessa! If she had not done the things that she did then, he won't even want to have anything to do with such a scheming woman! In fact, he felt really relieved that she died the wat that she died. It's just karma for a bad person. She deserved it! "You don't know what happened between your mom and I. You can't mention her ever again!" Ethan warned. The fact that he was played so bad by a woman was something that he wanted to keep to himself for the rest of his life. He did not want to bring it up and he absolutely did not want to talk about it ever again. "Why? I can't talk about it? Isn't it just because you know that you've done something wrong? You pretended to be devoted to my mom but immediately she died you left country F to come rekindle your old relationship. Judging from that woman's expression, I think that she doesn't have any intention of getting together with you.. why don't you just give it up and go back to country F now?" Kaira asked. She never liked the way that her father was always so cold to her. She did not know what she did to him for him to treat her this way. Ever since her mother died, it had gotten much more worse. Since he wanted to be cold and indifferent to him, she did not need to care about his feelings anymore! After all, he is the one who started all of this! "You Kaira...." Ethan really did not know what he was going to say to her. "What? What about me? Haven't you always not cared about the things that I did? Why are you trying to get involved in my life right now? Let's just each do our own thing without getting in each other's way. I won't try to stop you from reuniting with your love so don't try to stop me from doing what I want to do!" Kaira said. Her words were very mean. "You....!" Ethan was so angry that he wanted to cough up blood. He knew that he did not treat Kaira well. He knew that he has never really cared much about her. No matter what, he could not bring himself to do it. Whenever he looked at her, he could only be reminded of the things that Brenda did just so that he could break up him and Vanessa completely. Brenda was already dead before he could teach her a lesson. There was nothing much that he could do. But whenever he saw Kaira that was a living proof of tht things that Brenda did, he could not help being angry. "No matter what, a young woman should know how to act. You can't get involved in someone's Marriage!" Ethan said. She really can't be thinking of following in her mother's steps and breaking someone's marriage right? That would be too shameful! "I said that you don't have to care about tht things that I do! I can totally deal with this myself!" Kaira said. She stormed away. She did not want to listen to her father's sermon anymore. Ethan said. Kaira...she is acting more and more like her mother. If she continues like this, it won't be long before something goes really wrong. He could not let things get out of hand like the way like it did word Brenda. He had to do something. He really wanted to send her back to country F so that she won't cause trouble here. She was with her husband Daniel. She kept sneaking glances at his face. She saw that he was in a really good mood. Then he was okay for her to talk about Vanessa right? Vivian knew that any time the topic of Vanessa was brought up, Daniel would inevitably be in a bad mood. Sometimes, he even lost her temper. So they had all tacitly avoided the topic of Vanessa. It should be okay to talk about her right now? Vivian sighed and just decided to plurge into it. If she did not do this, then Vanessa and Scarlett were going to be in big trouble. Daniel supressed the urge of emotions that he was feeling and turned to Vivian. "How is she doing?" he asked. Daniel knew that Vivian must have something to tell him since she brought up Vanessa. He knew that she has been keeping in contact with Vanessa ever since. After all, the both of them were best friends before they got married. But she never talked about Vanessa before. Now that she suddenly brought Vanessa up, something must have happened. "Well...it's nothing much. It's just that...she told me that she ran into Ethan. He...he came back to country M" Vivian said. She knew that this was going to make Daniel lose his temper. The hatred that he had for the man who ruined his sister was well felt by every single person who knew him. As Vivian has expected, his eyes turned cold immediately. "What? He still has the guts to come back to this place? Wasn't he the one that said that he wasn't going to come back because he did not ever want to see Vanessa ever again? How dare he come back?" Daniel asked. Anyone could see how angry he was right now. "Calm down Daniel. It's not like we'll be able to stop him if he wants to come back. He can come and go as he wants!" Vivian said. Daniel knew that what Vivian said made sense but he was still angry. After all, it's that cheat of a man who said that he wasn't going to come back! To think that he even went back on his words and came back! "Hmph, so Vanessa called you to tell you that Ethan came back? It couldn't be that she is planning to go back to that man right? Hasn't she learnt her lesson? Does she want to lose her life before she learns to stay away from that man?" Daniel asked. Vivian ".….." She wanted to say, your sister isn't courting death. After what he did five years, for her to go back to him there must be something wrong with her brain right? Well, it wasn't Daniel's fault that he thought so lowly of his younger sister. She had messed up and done a lot of stupid things before in the past so it wasn't rare that he did not trust her and he even thought that he was going to go back to Ethan. Vivian tried her best to calm Daniel down. "Calm down Daniel. She did not say that she was going to go back to him. She is not stupid. After waiting for fifteen years and haven her heart shattered, she won't go back to him. It's not like she is courting death!" Vivian said. "I know that you are going to stand on her side because she is your friend. I won't be surprised if she wants to go back to that person! She has done a lot more stupid things before!" Daniel said. It was clear how angry he was at Vanessa. Vivian sighed. How is she going to tell him what is really important if he kept saying such things about Vanessa? "No matter what, I can ensure you that she's not going to go back to that person! He won't even see Scarlett when she begged him to see Scarlett back then! He said that he did not have a daughter with her! You should know your sister. Even though she has done a number if not so smart things, her daughter is still her bottom line. A man who refused to acknowledge the fact that he has a daughter, do you think that Vanessa is really going to go back to him?" Vivian tried to calm Daniel down first before she told him what she really wanted to tell him. Hmph!" Daniel only snorted when he heard this. But Vivian knew that it was a silent admittance. Everyone knew that Vanessa's bottom line was her daughter. Because of Scarlett, she won't ever go back to that person. "So what's the big deal if he came back? As long as Vanessa has the common sense to stay away from him, then I'm sure that everything will be fine. Why do you need to worry about him coming back?" Daniel asked. Even though Vivian did not say that she was worried, the both of them have been married for many years after all. He knew what his wife was thinking without her having to say anything. Vivian sighed. It really did come round to this. "It's because Ethan is such a jerk! He wants to see Scarlett again!" Vivian said. Daniel was really angry right now. He has an urge to go find Ethan and beat him to a pulp right now! He still knows that he has a daughter? And he even wants to see her right now? How can someone be so shameless? "He even has a daughter that is as old as Scarlett! Can you believe that? He already cheated on Vanessa from the beginning of thier marriage!" Vivian said, fueling Daniel's anger. She knew that the angrier he was, the more he'd want to protect Scarlett and Vanessa from that man. Daniel's veins were bulging now. He has a daughter? "What? He has another daughter that is as old as Scarlett? How can this man be so much of a jerk?" Daniel asked. "Yes. Vanessa found out about it when his daughter's car crashed into hers! That's when she found out that he was back!" Vivian asked. Daniel could not help but feel sorry for his sister. Even though he knew that she brought it to herself, he felt sorry for her. "He also told Vanessa that she should let him meet with Scarlett !"
