Alright. We'll Go Then. "Ha! Jealous, I'm sorry but I don't think that I have the right to be jealous. I seriously don't even have the time to Jealous!" Scarlett said. Thinking about how she even threatened her, Scarlett was even more angry. Ryder's mouth twitched. She said that she wasn't jealous but she had the words jealously written all over her face. What is this if it's jealousy? But since she is Jealous it means that she cares about him right? There is still a place for him in her heart right? This thought put him in a really good mood. "If you are not jealous then what do you call this? You are angry because she asked us to go to an auction?" Ryder asked. He had a teasing tone to his voice. "Of course I'm not jealous!" Scarlett denied immediately. She wasn't jealous at all! It was just because that woman is too annoying. She doesn't know how to hold herself back at all! If she wants to go after Ryder then she should do it! That's a matter between the both of them. Why does she have to get involved? It's so damn annoying! "What do you mean invited us? She didn't invite "us". You are the one she wanted to invite. Don't play dumb and act like you don't know that. Anyway, whatever you do, I hope that the woman who want to chase after you won't come to me. It's so exhausting to clean your harem for you. I really don't have the energy to do that" Scarlett said with a snort. She tried to give off the feeling that she did not care about whatever she did but the more she spoke, the more she gave herself away. She was obviously jealous and this put Ryder in a really good mood. Ryder pursed his lips. He thought that he already made things clear with Mira that day and they won't be seeing each other again. He did not really think that she would show up again like this. It seems that he had to put and end to it all and stop all her wishful thinking. "Alright then. Since she took the trouble to invite us, then we are going to go" Ryder said. "What?" Scarlett was alarmed. To think that he would agree to go so easily! So he wants to see her too tight?! Then who was he putting on a show for? Scarlett knew that she did not have any other option but to do. Especially since that woman had already subtly threatened her. But to think that this Ryder was going to agree to go so easily! It was probably because he wanted to see her right? He must be looking forward to having a good time with a woman while he was on this trip. And he had the guts to say that he likes her! She is never going to believe his nonsense! "You are going to go? Then you should go then. I'm going to sleep!" Scarlett said. She was sure that Mira won't pursue it if Ryder went on his own. In fact, she was going to be really happy. This is what she wanted anyway. Ryder is the one that she wanted to see and spend time with. She is going to be happy if she doesn't show up at all! "No way. We are going to go together. Since she already invited the both of us, then we should go" Ryder who did not know about the crazy plots that Scarlett had already cooked up in her head was thinking about how he was going to make it clear to Mira so she won't ever show up in front of them again. "I said that I don't want to go! Why do I have to go with you to meet a woman that you want to hook up with?" Scarlett asked. There was a lot of bitterness in her words. "A woman that I want to hook up with?" Ryder repeated. Even though she was saying such really mean words, Ryder was happy. Because it meant that she cared about him. It meant that the situation wasn't completely that bad. All the things that he has been doing for the part few days wasn't in vain. He still has a very big chance to win her heart! "Yes. So you can go on your own. You don't have to drag me into it" Scarlett said. She didn't want to care about this person anymore! Hmph! "No. We are going to go together" Ryder insisted. He was scared that someone was going to faint from jealously if he ever dared to go meet Mira on his own. And besides, he had already figured out that Scarlett has a really sharp tounge. It won't be too hard for her to out talk Mira. "Why do I need to go with you?" Scarlett asked. There was some irritation in her voice. Obviously, she was starting to get really upset. "Because we are going to put and end to this. We only have a few days left to spend here. How are we going to enjoy the rest of our stay if there is a woman like her bothering us? We have to put and end to it" Ryder said. His expression was fierce when he said this. Thinking about it, the both of them did not get the chance to enjoy this trip at all. The first few days, they were fîghtîng with each other Then she was trying to avoid him. And now Mira showed up, if this continued, this entire trip will become a nightmare instead of a memorable memory. He did not want that. Scarlett's expression went soft when she heard that. It turns out that he is asking her to go with him because she wants to put and end to Mira pestering her? Thinking about it, that woman Mira is so annoying! No matter what, Ryder is her husband right now! She had the guts to come to her and express her interest in front of her and even threatening her to go to some stupid auction because she wanted to hook up with her. She has never met such a shameless person in her life. It would be great to go and give her a few face slaps! Scarlett looked at Ryder's face. She suddenly felt guilty. She had been accusing him of wanting to hook up with Mira. It turns out that this is what he wants to do....she suddenly felt bad. Scarlett had a thought...has she been misunderstanding Ryder all along? How did she even come up with this conclusions in her mind? "You want to put and end to this?" Scarlett asked as carefully as she could. She was already feeling a whole load of guilt. She had to be careful when she talked. "Of course! She is going to affect this trip if we don't put an end to it. What else did you think that I was going to do?" Ryder asked. Seeing her guilty expression, he already had a good idea of tht things that has been going on in her head. Ryder sighed inwardly. Why was his image so terrible in her mind? He had been doing a lot of things lately but it seemed that it was useless. It was going to take some time and more effort to change her opinion of him. Sigh...he only had himself to blame concerning this. Who asked her to treat her like a jerk and then fall in love with her later? It's all his fault. There is no one else that he can blame. "Whatever. You can do whatever you want. I just don't want her to show up in front of me and annoy me again" Scarlett said. She was still holding on to her nonchalent attitude. But Ryder could see that she was already feeling guilty. He was happy though. He did get something out of this. Since she is feeling guilty about misunderstanding him then she is probably going to treat him well for the next few days. **** Matt was in his office thinking about the things that Rose had said to him. He had been prepared to chase Rose before this. He even found out her number from one of the employees. But now, he could no longer bring himself to call her. Because no matter what he said, it wasn't going to be any use at all. After all, she did not believe him. She had already thought of him as someone who just wants to play around. She believed that he did not know what it meant to truly like someone. And he had to admit that to some extent, she was right. At the beginning , he only wanted to keep going because he liked the challenge. He kept treating it as some form of high level game. Thinking about his attitude now, even he felt that he was a jerk. It was no wonder she compared him to Ryder! Thinking about Ryder, he was even more angry at that person. He has gone off to enjoy his honeymoon and he is suffering the aftermath of his actions here! Matt was sure that Rose's opinion of him was 50% influenced by the fact that he was friends with Ryder! If he had known, he would have kept a good distance from Ryder! Now not only was his own entire reputation ruined, he even found a way to ruin his reputation too. What kind of friend did he have really? He could not help him and he found a way to make things even more difficult for him! Just then, his phone rang. Matt picked up his phone and looked at the caller. It was an unknown number. No matter how he looked at it, he could not figure out who was calling him. Matt had a thought. Maybe it's Rose? Maybe she realized that it was a mistake to give up someone as good as him? He picked up the call in anticipation. "Hello?" His voice was cheerful. On the other side of the phone, Kaira calmed down a lot when she heard his cheerful voice. It seemed that Matt was in a good mood. Whenever she met that person in the past, he always had a scowl on his face. She had to go through a lot before she could get his personal phone number. Hearing how sunny he sounded, Kaira knew that bee call would not go to waste this time. "Matt" Kaira called out. There was some longing in her voice. She was trying to make herself sound as pitiful as possible. After all, five years have passed. And Matt has been the most unpredictable man she has ever met. She had to invoke his sympathy if she wanted to get something from him. Matt's mood dropped to a freezing level when he realized that the caller wasn't Rose. When he heard the woman's voice, he had a vague idea as to who it might really be. But he did not think that he was right. He did not want to jump to conclusions and so he decided to test it out first. If it's really her then.....he really did not know what to think. "Who is this?" Matt asked. His voice was colder now and he was no longer as cheerful as he was when he first answered the call. Even Kaira could tell that he probably mistook her for someone else. Kaira pursed her lips when she heard Matt ask who she was. They had known each other before. She is his best friend's girlfriend. How could he not recognize her voice?
