Summer's POV
The world collapsed around me the moment Alexander uttered those words. "Aria is missing." My body went cold despite the warmth of our tent in Iceland.
We were dressed and packed within minutes, Alexander already on the phone arranging for the private jet. His voice was controlled but I could sense his wolf, Orion, raging beneath the surface, demanding blood for whoever dared touch our daughter.
"How?" My voice trembled as we rushed toward the waiting car. "How could this happen? The pack house has the tightest security in North America."
Alexander's jaw clenched so hard I feared his teeth might crack. "Ethan's gathering all the information. The security footage shows nothing, which means this was an inside job or someone who knows our systems intimately."
I couldn't process his words. Inside job? Someone we trusted had taken our daughter? Nova howled within me, a mother wolf desperate to find her pup.
